Well placed, relatively small, low rise hotel well placed in the Bang Niang district of Khoa Lak. Although the restaurant here has typical hotel prices there are so many places to eat within a atones throw nothin the beach and in town, which feels safe at all times . Hotel staff have just the right level of attentiveness with out being overbearing. A real tropical paradise, will definitely consider returning

Just spent 5 days at this wonderful hotel in Khao Lak.
We had booked deluxe room, but were upgraded to jacuzzi room free of charge. The rooms are really spacious, clean and with modern interior. The bed was comfortable. If you have a special taste in pillows, you can even choose from a pillow menu and the staff will bring it to you. The only negative thing about the room was that the air condition was loud and windy even at the lowest level.

The location couldnt been better. The resort is practically on the beach. The resort offers sunbeds both at the beach and pool area. We really enjoyed the sunbeds at the beach, the beach is so quiet and not crowded at all. We stayed in january, which I guess is the high season, but we always found available sunbeds. The atmosphere at the resort is so relaxed, nothing like the noisy family resorts I have experienced other places.

The breakfast is enormous. You will find whatever you look for.
The lunch and dinner restaurant at the resort is good, but maybe a little expensive compared to other restaurants in the area.
For dinner I recommend to try the restaurants in the village. Just a short walk and you will find a lot of really cheap and tasty thai food restaurants.

The service was great. The staff were so polite and if I had a problem they fixed it in a couple of minutes. I really liked the fruit served to the guests free of charge every afternoon.

Best resort I have ever been to. I will love to come back.

Dear Therese

Sunny greetings from the Ramada Khao Lak.
We sincerely thank you that you have chosen our resort.

We appreciate your positive feedback and it is great to hear that you have enjoyed our facilities and services. Our prices are a 'tat' higher then outside which is true, and we hope to make up for this with a higher quality, better service and improved hygienic conditions ;-)

The entire Ramada Khao Lak team and myself hope to welcome you back soon.

My husband and I recently stayed at the resort for the last week of our honeymoon. Our room (deluxe with jacuzzi) was perfect. Modern, stylist, spacious and immaculately clean. The resort itself was smaller than previous places we have stayed but this added to the appeal as it was perfectly quiet and relaxing. We are not early risers and were happy to find that this didnt go against us in securing sunbeds after our breakfast. The staff at the poolside bar/restaurant (Sassi's) are fabulous. They are incredibly friendly and helpful with any requests no matter how big or small. We ate in both restaurants and found the food to be delicious and cheap. The beach is gorgeous and from there you have access to plenty of beach bars/restaurants. Outwith the resort there are a wealth of restaurants to choose from so we were never stuck for dinner options. On our last day we weren't being picked up until 8.30pm. Despite having to check out our room for noon the hotel has a showerroom equiped with fresh towels and products for you to freshen up prior to your departure. This was ideal for us as it allowed us to still spend our last day lounging in the sun. In summary this resort was perfect, we didn't want to leave. Possibly the most friendly and most helpful staff we have ever came across in Thailand. Couldn't recommend it enough.

Stayed here for 3 nights in May 2013, in a Pool Villa room. Staff were polite and friendly upon checkin, and the friendly hospitality was always evident whenever we dealt with staff.

The Villa is a spacious room with a very comfortable bed and a huge bathroom. There is a separate shower and spa-bathtub, his and her sinks, and an additional outdoor shower by the pool. Bed was kingsize and extremely comfortable. Our room had floor to ceiling windows on 2 sides of our villa, and even the bathroom had plenty of natural light filtering in.

Outdoor pool area was quite spacious too; there is an undercover lounge area beside the pool, as well as separate undercover area for two deckchairs. Pool was probably about 10 metres long, which is plenty of space for two. There are large walls on three sides so privacy is not an issue.

We ate lunch and dinner at the resort at Sassi's beachside restaurant, where food is reasonably priced (similar to other resorts/hotels in Thailand). However there is also the option to go for a walk along the beach and eat/drink at any of the beachhut restaurants that line the shore. Prices are cheaper than the hotel but the quality does not drop. There are also massages along the beach, which is a must-do, especially if you cannot book a massage at the resort.

Afternoon tea at Mellow bean cafe was included in our package because we booked a Villa. There was a good variety of treats with coffee and tea included. There are also books and DVDs freely available for guests to use during their stay.

The gym is small but is enough for a simple workout - a couple of cardio machines and basic weights. It can get crowded when more than 3 people are in there, so time your workout accordingly (ventilation is a bit of an issue so can get quite warm if too many people).

Ramada Khao Lak is a great resort, with good facilities and friendly staff. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would love to return soon!
