“The Perfect Honeymoon Resort”
Reviewed 9 May 2014

My wife and I decided straight after our wedding we would have the ultimate relaxing beach honeymoon. After hearing such great reviews from our friends and travel agent, we decided our honeymoon would be at Ramada. From the moment we walked in, the staff were beautiful, friendly, and assisted us in every need. We stayed in the absolutely beautiful Ocean Villa room right on the beach front - it had everything we could need and it was very clean and comfortable. The cleaners were very polite and did a fantastic job daily. The breakfast buffet had everything you could want (western or asian breakfast). We dined at their restaurant and did the dinner on the beach - a highly recommended experience. The health centre had excellent massages. It is very hard to leave the resort when everything you could want is there and you are too busy relaxing!! This has been by far, the most relaxing holiday we have ever had and for those wanting a honeymoon or relaxing getaway without having to think about anything - go to Ramada and let them take care of you!

Room Tip: Get an Ocean Villa if you would like to be close to the water - they are literally on the beach. The...

This resort is wonderful, soft king sized bed, large fluffy towels, top up bathroom supplies daily, garden views stunning and further past the pool an unspoilt white sandy beach. Dotted along the beach are restaurants, bars and massage tents. That is if you actually need to go outside the resort.
Pool is huge with a great swim up bar, Toh, the pool bar manager is the ultimate diplomat, dealing with a range of nationalities, but able to communicate and serve all with such courtesy and style.
We travelled here with friends from New Zealand, and honestly couldn't have asked for a better get together holiday.
The hotel is elegant without being ostentatious, the staff are amazing, smiles and superb service at every turn.
Food excellent, cleanliness outstanding and in general if you are looking for a place to stay away from the major centres, this is the perfect spot.
The local township is within walking distance, Wednesday and Saturday markets are lots of fun.
About an hours travel from Phuket airport.

Room Tip: We were inside the hotel on first floor overlooking the pool from our balcony. Very quiet. Garden a...

Whilst staying at the ramada resort I found the staff to be simply wonderful. They were pleasant, and only to happy to assist you in any way needed.
I had such a relaxing holiday and am very grateful for the opportunity to have stayed at the ramada and would strongly suggest to others this is the place to stay.
If I return to Thailand I would not hesitate to return to ramada, as I loved every minute of being there as I felt like a princess whilst on my holiday.

My wife &i spent 8 gorgeous days here. It over an hour from Phuket,so if you are looking for night life it probably is not for you.But if you want a relaxed pampered holiday in a delightful resort this is it.Beautiful situation on a gorgeous beach, with excellent rooms with comfortable beds,& cheerful helpful staff.Breakfast is very good. We tended to eat other meals out,as the fish restaurants on the beach are good, fun & inexpensive.thoroughly recommended!

We have already only spent 3 days at this wonderful hotel and we are both just amazed at how wonderful it is. When we arrived we were blown back at how the whole place looked. Our driver from the airport was so friendly and the lady on reception was so polite and welcoming. Two days in and we were astounded at how fantastic their customer service is, everyone is so polite and friendly and speak such good English. Our room was beautiful over looking the pool. I find with this hotel there is no need to spend hundreds on one of their private pool villas or their beach front villas as we booked the deluxe oasis room and hardly spend any time In the room because their facilities are so good. Occasionally nip back to the air conditioned room to escape the heat. It's crazy they set their air conditioning to around 23, which for England is a hot day hahaha!! We took a stroll down the beach going left out of the hotel ( haven't ventured right yet ) there were so many places to have thai massages, many bars and restaurants where just walking past them you are politely greeted by locals. A few hundred yards down the beach There is this 'ferry' service you can get that takes you about 2 metres across this very deep bit of water that Is 20baht per person, it's more just a board of wood with a thai man pulling you across, such a funny experience, the water there is so strong so I wouldn't recommend trying to get across with out using the 'ferry' until the tide goes out a bit in the evening then it's shallow enough to cross. Walking down the beach we saw a couple of other hotels and our one is by far the nicest out of them all. Today, day 3 we went on the elephant trekking and bathing trip which we booked through the tour desk downstairs in the hotel. The lady who we organised that through is park of the Eco Khao Lak Adventure company and she was so helpful and even gave us a discount on one of our trips without us even asking! The elephant trekking was such a great and memorable experience we went down to the beach on the elephants and they were trying to splash us by collecting water in their trunk. Then going down to the river with them we got to play with them in the water, just such an incredible experience! And finally we went to the market today that is on 3 times a week I think. It is just 2 minute drive in a taxi at only 50baht each, you could walk but I was just feeling lazy! Was a great atmosphere so much to eat, fresh fruit and veg fresh fish and meat to buy and many many souvenir stands and of course the stalls with the Rolex watches And Louis Vuitton bags etc as you'd expect. Well it just goes to show only 3 days In to our stay at this wonderful hotel and already so much to talk about. If you're going to be staying in Khao Lak I 100% recommend this hotel you will not regret it.

Room Tip: Just go for basic, deluxe oasis is perfect with breakfast included. Great views onto garden and pool...
