My husband and I stayed in a poolside villa for a week. It was a a fantastic holiday and very restful.

I can highly reccommend the Thai cooking class. Chart and his team were funny, helpful and I feel confident to try the dishes again now I'm back at home.

Sometimes travelling in the low season can be on the quient side and a disppointment due to many venue closures but not at the Ramada Khoa Lak. They were still open for business serving funtimes and relaxation to all.

We have just returned from a 2 week holiday to Thailand, with our first week staying at the Ramada, Khao Lak between July 4th-13th. Our stay at the Ramada Resort was a really relaxing, enjoyable experience thanks to the wonderful staff and superb facilities the resort offers. Stefan the manager, made us feel very welcome from our first arrival until we checked out! Every staff member was so friendly, always greeting us with a smile and accommodated all of our needs!
The resort itself is in a quiet location, right on the beach at Khao Lak. It is walking distance from a variety of restaurants and markets in the area (Mon, Wed, Sat). The rooms are very open and clean. We stayed in a Deluxe Oasis Room for our time which was on the second level overlooking the pool and grass area. We found it was all we needed for our time, but there are plenty of other room options to suit your needs! The turndown service every night was a nice touch, not many resorts offer this! Overall, we had an excellent stay and we would highly recommend this resort and area to anyone travelling to Thailand! Thanks again Ramada!!

Room Tip: Rooms on the bottom level provide access to the ground facilities easier, 2nd level is quieter. Look...

Just returned from a relaxing holiday at the Ramada Khao Lak Thailand. All we needed was to escape the cold wet winter and rest and The Ramada provided above and beyond. It was my husbands Birthday and we were upgraded to a Delux room with a huge barrel bath tub that was filled and had floating tropical flowers. It was a spacious, clean and light filled room. The design had thought of everything we may need. Our room lead out to the pool and garden area which was were we spent most of our time swimming, relaxing and having lunch. Our deal included breakfast and lunch and the quality and choice was great. We walked down the street most days and did a bit of shopping but, we eventually found our way to the market which provided all our holiday gifts for back home, fresh tropical fruit and a beautiful chilled green coconut!! There was entertainment at the Sassi bar at the hotel most evenings and tours leaving from the resort doorstop. The aircon was brilliant!! Our room was a welcome retreat from the humidity but, when leaving Melbourne the temp was only 9 deg.... we were more than happy to let the heat soak into our bones. Just remember to take strong sunscreen with you from home as it can be quite expensive to purchase over there and is not quite as strong either. Thank you Ramada .

Our recent stay was very enjoyable, room was well laid out and roomy, I have to agree with other review that the lighting could be a lot better, with a few down lights in the ceiling would be good.
Breakfast was fantastic with something for everyone. We found all the staff very friendly, helpful and courteous special mention of Toh at the pool and Pee who did our room they went out of their way to be helpful.
Khaolak is the total opposite of Patong, vey quiet and friendly with great restaraunts esp Radeang , Smile, Pinnochio and Ozone, there are plenty of others that looked quite good too.
The local market on wed sat and mon is a must and easy walk from hotel .
I hope they get their issues with the power sorted it was a pain the generator coming on regularly but otherwise a wonderful resort for a relaxing holiday, thanks Ramada.

Hi AandC

We sincerely thank you that you have chosen our resort.
We highly appreciate your feedback and it is great to hear that you have enjoyed our facilities and services. Thank you for your input on the lighting. We had frequent power outages during your time which was out of our hands but we provided uninterrupted back up generator power. We apologize for the inconvenience.

My husband and I stayed at the Ramada in June on a Luxury Escape. Suggest booking asap for the complimentary massages to get in. These were divine. Unfortunately the Seafood dinner was not such a great quality. Cooking class excellent but maybe afternoon time slots would be better not straight after breakfast at 11am. Overall a very relaxing stay from seasoned Thailand travellers.
