Good value for money. The staff was very helpful they arranged us a boat trip to our destination in Koh Samui. We just stayed for 1 night but we were satisfied with our choice. The breakfast was nice. The location is good and quiet. I can recommend this hotel.

Like others we picked this hotel for a one-night stopover before taking the train. The room was spacious and very clean. But one needs to remember to bend over to access the bathroom! Unfortunately, we had to put up with a noisy party on the top floor and a karaoke bar in the courtyard of the hotel. The hotel restaurant is inexpensive and provides a reasonable variety. But the breakfast buffet was a bit simple.

I stayed over 1 night before start driving to Ranong in early next morning day. I've been recommended this hotel is newest hotel in Suratthani and just about 30 kms from Suratthani Airport.
It was not bad; the room is amble space, the bathroom is clean but doesn't have a bath tube . The staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast is included and recommend to try local southern food here.. it's good.

Room tip: This hotel is ex-apartment, so the room space is quite amble than other hotel.

We had looked for ages to find a decent place to stay in Surat Thani as we were arrving from Malaysia by bus and just wanted a bit of comfort. We finally found it with 'The One Hotel'. The range of accommodation isn't vast but for a night or two this place is good. The room was larger than expected, clean, brightly painted with a decent working bathroom. We had a TV, with no international channels, wi-fi and a fridge.

We only stayed a night as we were getting the boat to Koh Samui the next morning. At breakfast we were pleased to see the huge buffet available. However, for some reason the hotel let in various drivers and tour leaders into the breakfast room. This caused great confusion - the guys were just going up to tables asking where the people were going that day, they then proceeded to say you have to go now as your car is waiting. We too fell into this, despite our transport not being due for an hour. Being told to leave half way through your breakfast isn't enjoyable, so hopefully the hotel will be able to regulate these guys.

The location was ok. It was at the bottom of a quite dusty road, out of the way. As it is a big hotel for the area all the locals know where it is, so we didn't experience any problems in getting lost! We had a few language problems with the reception staff but fortunately had a print out of our booking details which filled in the gaps.
