Located on expansive grounds and offering a wide variety of recreational facilities and activities, our resort is very suitable for families. DKid provides a dedicated lounge for children to play under the supervision of our caring staff and their parents on complimentary basis.

Our Family Getaway package offers many benefits including entry to Santorini Park, a scoop of ice cream with every kid’s meal, complimentary soft drinks and selected fruit juices for children under 12 years of age at poolside, special turndown with milk and cookies and more.

We hope you will be back at Dusit Thani Hua Hin at the next school holiday break.

A wonderful hotel, friendly and homely with excellent facilities, service and delicious food. Good beach area when the tide is out but lovely swimming pools and sunbathing loungers with parasols. Mini bus service for venturing further afield to Hua Hin where there are excellent cheap places to eat.

Room Tip: Our room was on the 4th floor overlooking the swimming pool area and was excellent in all respects.

I do not have any shares in Dusit Thani, but my review would make it seem so. There might be hotels out there that come close to its level of excellence (The Pullman Hotel at Guangzhou Airport for one), but I cannot see how it could be beaten. Of the literally hundreds of hotels I have visited around the world over many years, this was truly outstanding. But remember, it is a resort hotel and about 10km from the city, so an inexpensive taxi journey is needed for a visit to shops etc.

Room Tip: We stayed in Room 445 which was perfect. I cannot speak of other rooms but I am sure they were all of outstanding quality.

Dear Harry L

We are flattered by your positive comments of Dusit Thani Hua Hin and are glad that you have had a great time enjoying the vast recreational facilities available at the resort.

The resort is located 10 km from down town Hua Hin. We provide a scheduled shuttle service which departs on an hourly basis from 10a to 10p departing from the resort, returning on the half hour. The charge is a nominal fee of 50 Baht per transfer per person. For guests who would like to explore Hua Hin and its various attractions, this is an inexpensive option.

We hope we would have the pleasure of your next visit.

Thanks & regards.

We enjoyed a 15 night stay at the Dusit last month in a club room. It was 3 years since our last visit and whilst the hotel has not had any major refurbishment there were some minor improvements like Harnn cosmetics in the bathrooms, a very efficient laundry service and a better spread of food at cocktail time in the club lounge. Although we wish like some hotels they would make the club lounge adults only in the evenings.
Our first night was Chinese New Year and there were celebrations and a buffet in the Thai Restaurant which was really fun.
Food at the hotel is excellent we like the Saturday BBQ buffet and they put on a romantic meal for Valentines day which was really special. We also caught the shuttle into Hua Hin on several evenings were there are dozens of restaurants of all nationalities.
We had trips out to the local floating markets, the Hutsadin Elephant Foundation (really worthwhile) Cicada Market and some of the local shopping malls
The hotel beach is clean and sandy and we managed to swim in the sea most days, although there were a few jelly fish washed up we did not see any in the sea. There is a daily visit by some beach vendors with armfuls of saris, dresses and costumes, and they usually drew quite a crowd of bargain hunters. Depending on the tide you can walk either way on the beach which we enjoyed.
Service at the hotel is generally good although if there is an event or conference going on it can lapse as staff are stretched.
The Dusit, whilst a bit frayed in places, is welcoming and friendly and has excellent staff. The extensive grounds with stables and sport facilities give a real feel of space that make up for the distance from Hua Hin. We are already planning a return visit next year.

Room Tip: Club rooms are worth the extra

Dear Peter R

We are glad that you enjoyed your stay after a lapse of 3 years and we lived up to your expectations.

To enhance the dining experience of our guests, our food and beverage team put together innovative and interesting dining themed events such as the celebratory dinner during Chinese New Year with Lion Dance, and a romantic dinner set in an idyllic beachfront location at Rim Talay Bar and Grill – guests enjoyed the ambience, cuisine and being serenaded by Thailand’s renowned artist.

We are delighted you are planning to return next year and we look forward to welcoming you back.

Thanks & regards.

We stayed at the Dusit Thani for 12 days leading up to Christmas week. It was our first visit to Thailand and we were quite surprised by the amount of building along the sea front during the 2 1/2 hour drive from the airport and by the hotel's situation on da busy dual carriageway. However once inside the grounds of the hotel we found great tranquility and relaxation. We were overwhelmed by the friendliness and excellent service we met from all members of staff. And our visit was made more memorable by the Crown princess being in residence for a few days during our stay.
The room seemed slightly dated and furniture a little tired but once the jet lag wore off we found it very comfortable and loved the view particularly at night. Christmas decorations multiplied while we were there until by our departure they looked fabulous. There was a great atmosphere particularly on the 23 rd anniversary celebration when we had a dancing display by traditional Thai dancers in the pool complete with dry ice to the tune of Winter Wonderland and by Thai boxers to the tune of Mission Impossible! All incongruous and great fun!
The breakfast served was extensive and we liked the restaurant with choices of outdoor or indoor dining. We had a bed and breakfast option but ate at the hotel's Thai restaurant and the fine dining restaurant by the sea several times. Food was really good but it is expensive and we really enjoyed going into Hua Hin itself on the shuttle bus service arranged by the hotel, a twenty minute bus journey. It is quite a large town and has a huge choice of restaurants including fabulous sea food restaurants on stilts over the sea. The hustle and bustle is fun in the town and evening street shopping a must.
We hired a car for a few days and really enjoyed exploring the surrounding areas. The national park is spectacular and Petchaburi and the hilltop summer palace well worth a visit.
The hotel gym is well equipped and the service from its staff superb. They even set the machines for you and knew my weight without asking by the end of the holiday!
All in all this is a hotel that takes great pride in itself with good reason. Exceptionally high standards of service and warm friendly staff. We loved it.
