I arrived in Cha am with a room for only 1 night so spent the afternoon looking at many rooms and hotels. Nirundorn 3 was by far the very best that I looked at. The staff were very friendly and helpful showing me rooms on all floors. Every room that I looked at was very clean modern with a/c and tv. but i never checked bathrooms.I chose a room on the 4th floor and the bathroom was lovely. The rooms were made up daily if wanted, with clean towels and very white bedding.Free water in fridge and views of the sea and a budget price for Cha am I was so pleased with it I stayed for 8 nights instead of the 2 that i went for. The pool is lovely and cleaned each morning with sun beds and tables. I spent 7 nights in the hotel and had to change to one of the bungalows for one night. The bungalows are very very nice but a little more expensive but I felt the hotel rooms better as all rooms have sea facing balcony with deckchairs and a table. I would always go back to this hotel if in Cha am. I am so pleased that I never read the reviews or I would not have stayed here. Everyone that I spoke to staying here all said they loved it.

I stayed at nirundorn 3 at the hotel side not the bungalows, rooms were really clean and bed is most comfortable in my east asia journey but the bathrooms... I can't find good curse word to describe them, the roof is made of somekinda paper/wood paneling and for my room was 100% covered in mold plus the waterheater pipes covered in mold... it took only 1 night before I realized it was the mold causing my headache, coughing and sore throat the next morning. Such a shame the hotel is otherwise superclean, beautiful, well equipped and good value for money, but one "small" thing ruins it completely... I would never revisit unless renovation of bathrooms, its just somewhat a health hazard.

Room Tip: third floor rooms have mold

Didn't stay here. The management seems to think that if you arrive with a Thai woman, she must be a prostitute and not your wife, but not just think it, say it out loud as well.

(Go to Nirandorn 3, just up the road, it maybe the sister hotel of this one, but the staff seem okay, and there is now a swimming pool there.
Only 700 baht a night (more on weekends). Rooms are clean, with air con, fridge, TV, hot water shower, towels, toiletries and drinking water.)
