This was our third time on Cera Resort and it speaks for it self, I guess.
And furthermore, we are going back in the second part of august and in November this year. That should really explain what we think of Cera resort.
It is fantastic and much more.

But of course, you have to enjoy GOOD FOOD, something Cera Resort really have.
Don’t miss it.
And, up in the village it can be rather hot in the evenings, but down in Cera there is a soft breeze all the time and you can sit in the garden whit all their flowers and enjoy your meal. It is LOVELY.

It is an advantage if you like peace and quite, strolling around, take a walk on the beach, go to one of the nearest beech restaurants’, just sit there, take a beer or what you prefer, feel the lovely breeze and listen to the sea.

Go out in the village, it is a pearl, look at all the flowers and the life in the village.
It happens something there all the time.

Since November 2012, the hotel have started whit a shuttle bus to the nearest beach and to the Night market in HuaHin.
And more is to come.

And, in the surroundings, whit that I mean, HuaHin, Cha Am, Phetchaburi , Kanchanaburi and Ratchaburi is a lot to see. Both in the near, but nothing is more far away than you make it in a day or a half day. So enjoy and relax.

/Dan & Eva

Room Tip: Book the high building and enjoy a fantastic view and a wonderful sunset almost every evening.

We booked this last minute based on the reviews on here are were not disappointed. First all the good things...

1. The staff are quite possibly the friendliest I have ever come across at a hotel. They were always playing with our daughter, helping sterilise baby bottles and providing answers to any questions we had about the local area. Fantastic.

2. The food was good and very reasonably priced - we generally ate there at lunchtime and both western and Thai options were great. Breakfast was good - especially the Thai omelette! The cooking class was nice too!

3. Our room was very nice and the hotel provided a lovely little cot for our daughter.Furnishing was very quirky with brightly coloured pottery all around.

4. Whilst not a large pool, it was very clean and kept at a fantastic temperature to cool down from the Cha-Am heat.

5. Was actually in a small village south of Cha-Am called Bang Kwae (i think) - about half way to Hua Hin - so was very quiet though one in a row of a few hotels (Regent beach, Novotel and others).

The only negatives may not even be negatives for some people, but:

1. The bar closes very early - even for residents. If there is no one there, it closes it seems. Whilst not a big issue for us there were a couple of nights we came back from the village at 9.30pm to have a nightcap only to find the bar closed.

2. The village is very quiet and very much the preserve of the more ahem, mature traveller. Whilst we had our daughter so were quite happy with that - it may put off others. The local bars and restaurants were in general fine, but all very similar in terms of menu. The best food we had was to be found in Hua Hin.

3. The hotel is next to the beach but unfortunately the beach has been eroded away to the extent that Cera (I believe the Novotel and Regent) only has a beach during low tide. The hotel does however provide a shuttle to the beachfront 2 km north which is nice and you can rent loungers etc there.

4. Not a lot can be done but a pet hate is where people come down at 6.30am to put towels on sunbeds and then disappear until 11am. In some cases they left them all day and came back at 5pm having spent 1hr at most at the pool! If people spend the day at the pool afterwards then fine, but it was really annoying.

Overall - an excellent little hotel. Would I go back? If i was in the area - absolutely.

Cera Resort is one of the best hotel i have stayed at in Thailand.

The rooms are big and very clean. No sounds from outside Big bathroom with bathtub and separate shower. The bed was a little bit hard but I like it anyway. Breakfast was average but okey.

The beach outside hotel is not so good but hotel have free shuttle service to nearest beach (Cha Am beach)

I didn't like the location and the area outside the hotel was very dark. It was also many dogs outside the hotel. But you can find some really good restaurant near the hotel that was cheap.

Room Tip: If you want seaview choose a deluxe room

Very nice resort. It's quite new, quiet, excellent for families with children. The rooms are big with very nice sea view and mountain view on the other side. There are two swimming pools connected to each other. One is for children. We have tried only breakfast and it was good. There is Thai and European food.
There is no beach at the hotel. But they provide transfer to the nearest beach every day for free. I have not tried it.
Good place for relax from Bangkok busy life.

I loved this hotel. Having spent a fair amount of time in hotels in many parts of the world I felt that this is one of the best. I had a lovely large light, clean room with a great balcony overlooking the pool and out to sea. The pool is lovely and the public areas are beautifully quiet and well maintained. The staff are amazing. Very welcoming and helpful and there is a lovely atmosphere overall. The Manager was very charming and had lots of useful information about the area. A visit to the nearby summer palace and the surrounding mangrove and beach is a must. I planned to stay for 3 nights and ended up staying for 15 nights. I will certainly plan to return.

Room Tip: Higher up deluxe rooms have the best views.
