We stayed in 2 bedrooms pool villa ,it was very large for 2 of us. The main bedroom with high ceiling and high bed (higher than normal) feel like climbing to bed. I like bathroom very comfortable but outdoor jacuzzi is too large. Second bedroom are small. We have problem with air condition- in the bedroom is too hot and in the living room is too cold so we have to open the connecting door to balance it. Private pool has good size but need maintenance-villa no4 the stair into the pool is loose not safe when using it and under water light need to be fixed. Main pool is large and next to the beach. Distance from our villa to the restuarant is a bit far.

The pool view is beautiful facing the beach. You can have massage along the beach which only cost 200 bahts. I read through almost all the reviews before I make the reservation on this hotel. Spa, pool and breakfast are good. Well, I tried all, and indeed the pool is awesome. But the spa is kind of disappointing and there is no big spread of breakfast as mentioned.
One thing shocked me is the accor member discount at the pool bar. My friends and I were enjoying lunch and wine at the pool side and was mentioned to the waiter that there is no discount when we having at here.

For Accor member discounts, it depends on card, Le Club members recieve discounted room rates and other benefits but no discounts in the restaurants and bars. My family stayed in Veranda Deluxe Twin room during 11-14 August 2014. Check-in staff did not know what Le Club Platinum card is. No platinum check-in counter is provided. We got room no. 314 (Garden View). There were lots of ants and some kind of insect in the room. The hotel proposed to use ant killer spray but I denied because my kids also stayed in this room. We requested for room change but all room were occupied. We stayed in this room for one night and moved to room no. 308 on the next day. Bathroom is acceptable. This hotel has a very wide swimming pool with artificial sand beach and a small slider that can be used by both child and adult. Parking lot is very small (about 30 cars). Parking card is too big (about half of A4). We ordered fried-rice dish into our room. It was almost 300 baht. It is delicious but too expensive. Buffet breakfast included variety of food including beacon, omelet, cheese, boiled rice, etc. Special menu such as grilled pork (sunday) was changed everyday. No buffet lunch and buffet dinner was available because we stayed during low season period. We had a dinner at "I Sea" restaurant in this hotel. The seafood plate is not fresh especially river prawn. We rode horse at the beach. We will never come back again.
Sorry to hear you did not enjoy your stay with us, we did try our best to make your stay comfortable and pleasant as possible despite the first night mishape. All rooms have since been treated for insects, but unfortunately, some guest still insist on bring their own groceries with them.
The hardwares are great. The exotic design matches the environment perfectly. Nice big pool with a open beach view. Room deco is decent and branded shampoo/showering gel were provided. We were offered the seaview room but the majority of the view was blocked by the trees inside the hotel. Nontheless it was nice just to chill at the balcony.
Room for improvement: We stayed for 4 nights so we tried to plan ourselves some sightseeing activities. Hua hin is a pretty small town with undeveloped public transportation system. Most tourists rely on private taxi service. There were a group of taxi drivers standing by just outside the hotel. But the price they charge for long distance travel was expensive and the staff did not seem to help bargain for us.
We had to figure out the way to get to our destination on our own.
Overall we had a very nice stay at Veranda.
Thank you for you kind comments and suggestions regarding outside taxi service. I would agree with you they are not very service minded at all and would advise all our guest to use a licenced tour services rather than rouge taxis.
We stayed at Veranda for 3 nights to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Despite alerting the hotel that we would be coming to celebrate our anniversary, the hotel did not acknowledge this in any way or do anything special. The jacuzzi room we stayed in would benefit from being updated with new furnishings and decorations, as well as improved lighting and bed linens. Wifi was also poor at the hotel and I had to repeatedly notify staff that I was having problems with this. Staff said they were aware of the problem and they would fix it. No one followed up with me to see if the problem was improving. During checkout, staff did not inquire about how my stay was, and instead they chatted amongst themselves the whole time in Thai, discussing the underground lottery. Very unprofessional.
Food was also mediocre. We ordered pizza and wine at the pool, and the pizza was not tasty at all. The food for breakfast was not much better - frozen seafood is used in dishes instead of fresh, and many of the items are quite bland or just simply not high quality such as pastries.
The hotel has potential - the outside common areas of the hotel are beautiful and generally well maintained. There is a very nice pool, and we had massages at the spa and this was decent. Improving food, providing better training to staff aimed at improving service quality, and making major updates to the rooms would make a major difference here.
For now, I would advise travelers to stay elsewhere. At this price point, there are better options in the Hua Hin/Cha Am area, offering better service and rooms.
