“wonderful hotel and staff thank you”

from the start of my holiday at this hotel i was made to feel very valued , and nothing was too much trouble for the staff esp the sundara staff in the bar . the only negitive point is that the reception staff could have been abit more freindly they seemed unhappy.. the quality of the food is very good i was on the all inclusive package. was the same kind of quailty as paying guests .would come back . plus the wi-fi is free to guests staying which i found very good

Room Tip: lagoon acess rooms are a must if you like the pool

Beautiful property with very nice lagoon pool. The service is very profesionel and staff seems well trained. I was actually impressed about the selection of cocktails and drinks offered around the pool and the bar. The hotel is very clean as well, the room are very clean as well. The hotel is very convenient since it s only 2:30 h from Bkk and close to Hua Hin city. Perfect place for people looking to relax

This is our third times staying here and every time we always get a very good service from one gentleman.

I would like to give a big compliment to Khun Sathit who is working at Luna beach bar. He provided us a very good hospitality ( i can say this is the real hospitality service, not just only a service), always smile, give an eye contact and active. We can feel he works with passion.

Please pass my compliment to him!

We really enjoy staying here and will definitely come back very soon.

Arrived 14th nov 2013 to date only one day where all public facilities were availabe to allguests.on arrival corporate gathering in ful swing for a couple of days, followed by a 3 day indian wedding and today the corporate workers were out inforce hammering away preparing for a bmw corporate event, none of which is advised on the sheraton web page. Not quite the ambience of a 5 star hotel. The indianwedding was a unique experience but one does not expect to be segregated from the regular breakfast facilities and shoved into a corner.
The staff however are brilliant and under normal circumstances first class. The hotel were well aware of the impending problems and did offer to relocate us to a villa resort some distance away which we were not aggreeable to having just arrived from the uk and further we had a golfing itinerary arranged based on staying at this hotel.
lots of good reviews but full of sympathy wth people recognising the shortfalls of the hotel and writing bad reviews. Hoping things get better but not too optimistic with the noise around the beach front today. Thankfully we can escape to the golf courses.
Take care as to whats on when booking this hotel. The senior management are obviously only interested in corporate functions and large events without concern for the regular holiday maker, a great pity as the hotel could be a fabulous retreat under the right circumstances.

Room Tip: The garden view rooms will provide the quietest options and the nearer to reception the better.

On it's web page, SHH promises among other things '...unique destination where memories are made...',  '...natural atmosphere that helps to relax...' and '...our team is on hand to ensure the finest services and a complete getaway...'. Well at least one out of the three value propositions was fulfilled during our visit - we did made some lasting memories! 

We did arrive early, but were told that we would get a room in 15 minutes. Great, but  it all went downhill from that point on. We had reserved room with two beds; not available; instead we were given a room with one bed and were told that our son could sleep on the sofa. SPG membership was not recognized during check-in. Our special package promoted late 2pm checkout; we were told that it's not possible, nor the 4pm checkout for gold members. (Until when at the morning of our departure I decided to go to the platinum & gold member service desk; all of the sudden the 3pm departure was possible since the room would not be occupied after us?) The Welcome fruit platter on arrival that was promoted on our package was one fruit on a platter for three persons to share.  There seems to plenty of staff, but surprisingly many have quite limited english skills. At times the staff also seemed to be more interested in talking with each other than serving guests. (I'm not blaiming the staff; they were nice and helpful, but seem to be poorly managed.)

What really ruined our vacation was that we had an unfortunate chance to stay at the Sheraton Hua Hin at the time when an indian wedding was taking place. The main attraction of the wedding was to make as much noise as possible for hours at time and for several hours. I've literally been to rock concerts with less volume! And as some other customer has already stated, they pretty much do not care about other customers if there is an indian wedding going on!

The problem was not the wedding itself, but the practicalities surrounding the wedding arrangements at SHH are somewhat confusing; i.e. for some utterly braindead reason they allow use of pool/lawn area between the buildings for the wedding festivities! And have indian pop/rock concerts there, while other customers are trying to relax and sleep in the buildings surrounding the pool/lawn area! (Did I forgot to mention that they do not stop when the evening comes, but continue until the night!) Unfortunately during our visit to SHH the manners of the guests also left quite a lot to be improved upon; we got what apparently was a prank call on our room telephone during night, people were swimming in the pool with their regular clothes on, shouting in the hallways, balconies and a cross the yard in the middle of the night. They were also smoking, eating, drinking vodka and beer while in the pool! We actually had a men and women using our balcony as a way to move from one room to another! While we were using it! (We have plenty of pictures and videos to prove these incidents.) When we asked them is there something wrong with their room door, they started insulting us. After four complaints during two days and no response from hotel management, the only thing SHH gave us was that they made the innocent girl at the front desk say that she is sorry and comped us 1200thb of serivces. (That's less than 30€!)

To sum it up; avoid at all cost! I understand that big weddings equal big bucks, but I find it worrying that the way that the wedding arragements are allowed to affect the vacation experience of other quest speaks of serious problems with the respect for customers in general. SHH is a four star facility, with three star staff and one star management attitude!

We were upgraded to a pool access room which was a huge bonus. Although I should add that we were there mid week when the hotel was relatively quiet, and hardly anyone swam past our room. If the hotel had been heaving with families we might have been less content.
But while we were there it was heaven. The pool is huge and very clean, the sun was shining, the loungers were comfy, and every meet we ate at the various restaurants was delicious, western and Thai.
So all in all a great trip and I would definitely go back again. One thing to be aware of is that there is absolutely no beach at all. But with a pool like their's who needs it.

Room Tip: Pool access room on the left hand side looking out from reception, if you want the sun.

It has the biggest swimming pool that I've ever visited in all my hotel stays!
The staffs were so friendly, honest, polite, alert and responsible.
My hubby left his sunglasses on the day we checking out the hotel at the main lobby leisure table. After a few hours we left the hotel, we only realized about the lost.
Thus, I called up the hotel reception, to hope that his sunglasses would be still there, surprisingly, yes! It was kept safely by the hotel staff!
The hotel in fact has arranged a transfer of the sunglasses from Hua Hin to Westin Bangkok. And, we just need to pick up from there! It was really a great relief for us, as his sunglasses contains a lot of sweet memories to us!

Other than the swimming pool, ambiance and staffs: the food were served great, very tasty!
I'm from Malaysia, thus, I would have tasted all the Asian spices at my home land, a good Thai food can be found easily at my home town.
But, the Thai food served by the Inazia Restaurant had really give me a big surprise! Extremely tasty and acceptable by someone who is not a fan of spicy. I believe that it will serve as great as it did if someone needs it to be spicy too.

Despite of Inazia, the complimentary breakfast was served with so many varieties! Comprised of American, English, Thai, Indian, Chinese and Japanese options. Yummy! And honestly, the breakfast from Sheraton Hua Hin has been successfully made me to be a big eater in the early morning as I normally don't really interested in eating heavy breakfast, but then, Sheraton nailed it!

As a conclusion, we would definitely go back for a great stay with Sheraton Hua Hin Spa & Resort whenever it's possible! :)
