Hotel facilities and rooms are all up to International standards .
Was there in a busy period January / February 2012 with lots of regular long stay guests , couldnt make it out that despite getting up early , these beds had already had towels on them , before the pool attendants were on duty . On asking around was told that if we paid the attendants any thing between £10-20 beds would be reserved for us in our chosen position .
How do management not know or care about this or is it just pandering to returning guests .
Would we return , NO .

Dear Alhenryuk,

We were pleased to read the hotel facilities and guest rooms met your expectations.
About the sunbeds, during our peak season it does get busy poolside from time to time. We offer two large Resort Pools one in each wing of the property. To manage the peak periods we have introduced a system whereby any lounges not occupied for more than two hours will be made available immediately.
We certainly appreciate all guests who visit the Resort new and returning guests and we do hope we can welcome you back in the future.

With kind regards,

Not what we expected. The room is so so compare to what they claim for renovated. BBQ seafood at night was not impressive, compare to the price we eat outside is much better. Breakfast even worst and special guest was the flyer.

A great place to relax and unwind, the gardens are lush with frangipiani treas every where and the choice of swimming pools

we had an upgrade to a chalet room which was great
the room was very comfortable and well appointed
the small village has some eating options and also an excellent tailor Kings Karamat is very skilled at making what ever you require
The beach is good for a walk with an excellent cafe about 700 metres from the hotel on the left hand side on the beach front is called( little cafe) which we found great for breakfast
the staff at the hotel were very obliging and helpful and we both had a great massage from the ladies there
this is my second visit in 3 years

We are a family of four staying at Anavana villa, which is facing the beach. It is surrounded by greens and I can hear the waves collapsing on the outside. There is also an outdoor spa where you lie your head down against the beach making it feels like relaxation therapy. The only possible problem with this resort is group tour. Most are employees doing activities organized by the company but things can get overwhelmed at night. The second night we stay, my sister and I were watching tv. It is about 10 pm. While we were enjoying the show, we heard the door knob shaking with a voice like group of drunk men. My sister got scared and she screamed, "Who are you?". They reacted, "Whoa, this house is occupied". It is our luck that we locked the door or else they would break in. We called the security guard. After this incident, we have to think again if we would come back. However, the rest of services is good.

Room Tip: Villa gives a better view of the sea

Dear Khun Vorapon,

We were very disappointed to hear your pleasant stay with us was interrupted by guests who had overindulged and consequently tried to enter the incorrect villa. This is certainly not reflective of the high service and safety standards we aim to achieve at our Resort.

We do hope you will consider visiting us again in the future.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback.

We looked forward to a quiet do-nothing holiday and this resort delivered 100%. The place is located inside lush green premises. Wonderful pool-side and excellent reasonably priced dining options on the property. Rooms are modern. The small village restaurants and 7-11 just outside the hotel parking lot on the left side have enough options for good inexpensive food, massage and essentials shopping. There is a well stocked convenience store just outside the hotel lobby too. There are two things that go against the hotel- One is that the sea outside is not fit for swimming as its muddy and full of jelly fish. However the beach is great for walking.
Cycles can be hired pretty cheap at the village shops and the surrounding area makes for great cycle trips (dont hire the ultra expensive cycles from the hotel !)

The other negative is that the hotel has no free (or reasonably priced) Internet (let alone high speed wifi). The in-room internet line is ultra exorbitantly priced (100 baht for 10 minutes !! ) as is the wifi in the hotel lobby. However the village restaurants all offer FREE wifi, which should be enough to shame the Holiday Inn management into action !! Considering the wonderful ultra high speed internet we enjoyed at Holiday Inn express Bangkok, I wonder why the Cha Am property cant do so. After all today High Speed Internet is like free drinking water !!

Room Tip: While the beach facing rooms are charged extra, rooms facing the resort entrance are quieter as the...

We booked a family suite n they have a lovely pirate boat beds for my two boys in kids's bedroom. This hotel used to be call Regent Cha-am but was renovated recently n rebranded. Food is not so expensive but not super great. Buffet on sat night is not good enough for the price. Breakfast is ok. The pool area is very large n connect to the beach. The beach is not that nice though but it's like this on this part of Thailand.
What I n my sis enjoyed most is the spa. It has several choices, give good service and very reasonable price.
If u don't have car it will be a little difficult to go to the night market in huahin. Ask the hotel for free shuttle. Must visit!!

Stay at the hotel was very pleasant and very peaceful after the hectic days we had at Pattaya. The rooms were clean overall and the only major problem is the language .The staff at the hotel have problems understanding english, which is a big problem overall in thailand. The breakfast at the hotel is very average and avoidable. We found a lovely small restaurant at the village which is owned by Allen and wandy..Great pizzas and lovely service. They offer good american breakfast at half the cost of the hotel. good bars in the village .overall a nice place to relax and unwind.WE had garden facing rooms which we thought were better than pool facing rooms as they were very quiet and peaceful..Would really love to go back .
