Stayed in this condo for 3 nights. Very well equipped and in a good position. Trevor and Pat were excellent getting up at 7am to ensure we would have the free bikes available for that day.Used them to visit Chiang Rai Beach and enjoyed a couple of Laos beers. Easy ride, nice countryside roads.
Would definitely stay here again. Trevor also posted a top (stupidly left in wardrobe) back to me. Better than a hotel room by far!

“Comfortable Apartment”
Reviewed 30 December 2013 for a stay in December 2013

We stayed 3 nights at this apartment over Christmas 2013. The apartment is small but perfectly fine for a couple for a short stay. It is well furnished and has everything you need. The hosts, Trevor and Pat could not be more accommodating and helpful. Trevor was overseas in England but was still replying quickly to emails. Pat is a wonderful lady who met us at the start and end of our stay and also organised a driver for us to visit the White Temple - a gentleman in a blue van who didn't speak much English but was a fun guy and always quick to have a laugh. The apartment is a 10minute walk to the night market and close other areas. It is very close to a large Saturday night market which is huge and crowded. There is a massage place just around the corner which is very clean and offers great massages. My wife also had her nails done there. While the apartment was only 10 minutes walk from the night market we tended to catch the local tuk tuks about who usually charged 60 or 80 baht. They all recognised the name of the Chiang Rai Condotel when we asked to be taken there - which made getting around and back very easy. We tended to eat at the local eateries rather than cafés or restaurants and enjoyed the local good very economically. We would recommend this apartment for anyone wanting a short stay in Chiang Rai. Only downside is that it is a single bedroom/lounge which means that you both really need to go to bed at the same time. A big thank you to Trevor and Pat for their help and hospitality. “Excellent condo, very helpful owners and everything we needed and more”
Reviewed 12 December 2013 for a stay in November 2013

The condo was spotless and very well equipped. It was a home away from home for us which was very warmly welcomed. Trevor and Pat couldn't have been more helpful and we would definitely recommend this to anyone!

“Best apartment in Chiang Rai”
Reviewed 21 November 2013 for a stay in November 2013

We stayed here a total of 6 nights and it was perfect in every way: within walking distance to the town, a very pleasant condo , self contained with balcony and a great view from the 7th floor - roof top.
Laundry - 2 day service or self service is just round the corner.
Very easy to order taxi/tuk tuk from condo.
This was certainly much better than staying in a cramped hotel room. Trevor and Pat were very helpful and allowed us to leave our luggage in the room while we visited Bamboo Nest, an idyllic retreat away from the city in the mountain, waking to the birds and watching the beautiful sunrise and sunset. Thank you Pat and Trevor for everything, we loved your apartment.

“Perfect start to our first Thailand visit”
Reviewed 4 November 2013 for a stay in October 2013

We stayed at this condo for two nights and wish it had been longer. It's a very large unit (I saw another unit that was much smaller) and have everything you need.

The host Pat was very helpful and even bought bus tickets and dropped off a hair dryer for my wife.

Location is great, only 10 minutes for the center of the city and the markets.

Highly recommend staying here if you visit Chiang Rai.

“An Oasis in Chiang Rai”
Reviewed 15 August 2013 for a stay in August 2013

The two of us stayed in Trevor and Pat’s studio apartment for 11 nights in August 2013. They have done a great job. While the condo building itself is showing its 20 years of age, inside the apartment everything is clean and comfortable.

There’s a lot of thought gone into the fitout of the apartment. There’s a two hotplate stove, microwave, good size fridge, toaster, plenty of dinnerware and placemats and tea towels, as well as a proper dining table. This allows you to visit the great local Thai food stalls and return for a feast (which is very convenient if it’s the rainy season and it’s teeming down outside).

There’s an iron and ironing board, plenty of TV channels and movies, as well as a drying rack for your washing (DIY machines just down the road do a load for 20 baht).

The bed is very comfortable, and we slept well. The apartment and balcony is on the east side of the building so escapes the hot afternoon sun. The balcony is very pleasant for a sundowner. The airconditioning and fan were also great to have. There’s no shortage of power sockets, and the new internet is fast and rock solid.

If you need your morning coffee fix there’s an excellent coffee shack at the front of the condo building.

While we didn’t get to meet Trevor in person as he was working overseas he was a pleasure to deal with in the lead up to our trip, always responding quickly to any questions we had. We did have the pleasure of meeting Pat, and she was a delight, always kind and helpful.

It’s not a huge walk to anywhere you want to go, but if you do need a taxi (much cheaper than a tuk tuk) its best to ring them as they can be hard to hail on the street.

“Excellent accommodation”
Reviewed 13 August 2013 for a stay in June 2013

I stayed in Trevor and Pat's studio apartment for 5 nights in June and I'm pleased to say that I made the right choice.

Trevor and Pat met me at the apartment and explained everything and, as I'm quite technologically challenged, Trevor even connected my iPad for me to the free and very reliable WIFI. Throughout my stay they were easily contactable my email or phone should I have required any assistance or advice.

The apartment is very well set up and spotlessly clean. It contained everything that I required to make myself feel at home. As others have said, the location is excellent with an interesting large local market just up the street and it took me about 20 minutes to walk to the Night Bazaar. I am, however, quite a slow walker.

The condominium building which the apartment is in looks a little shabby, however, as a woman travelling alone, I never felt unsafe in the apartment, the building, or on the surrounding streets.

I don't believe you can go wrong with renting this apartment from Trevor and Pat.
