“Recently redecorated”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 2 January 2013

Nice western style rooms, looks like this place has just been redecorated, satellite TV and A/C. It's very hand for town too, just a short walk from the clock tower and a couple of great cofee shops. highly recommended and busy, suggest high floor rooms arte quieter, has a lift.

Room Tip: Higher floors are quieter, ask to be away from large tour groups especially school tours!!!

The good points:
- Booking secured thru Booking.com, no deposit needed.
- Relatively new hotel
- Clean and spacious room
- Good rate
- Good location, 5-10 min walk to clock tower, night bazaar
- Convenience store located nearby
- Provides soap, shampoo, towels, fridge, safe deposit, TV and DVD player, free WIFI in room

The not so good points (didn't really bother us too much)
- Sound proofing of the rooms could be better.
- Counter staff speaks little English, but friendly.
- 7 of us stayed in 3 rooms. Toilet in 1 of the rooms was choked, I think it's just our luck.

Location:
Right in the heart of the city, its not hard to get around to where you want to go. Luckily, Chiang Rai is not very crowded, and the streets aren't congested, so walking around the town is a good way to explore.

Room:
Small, but adequate space for 2 people. Initially we had three people, but my mom went and got her own room because the prices were so good. Our room had two single beds, A/C, and a paid minibar. The bathroom was small, but had everything you needed. The hallway was occasionally noisy, but nothing to be bothered about.

Service:
They do offer room service, but we didn't get anything. I'm not sure about how well the staff speaks English (since my mom and I are Thai). My mom really liked the staff though, since they made it real easy for her to get her own room.

This was our first stay in the B2 hotel chain, and I would definitely stay in another one of their hotels.

Me and my partner stayed here for 10 days whilst in Chiang rai(there are actually two B2 hotels in Chiang Rai,we stayed in the Night Bazaar one) can't complain at all! The rooms arnt huge but large enough for two people sharing, plenty of storage space, air con,hot water, private bathroom, shampoo, soap, towels, housekeeping everyday...really great for the price(B350) the location is a 5 minute walk from the night bazaar and restaurant/bar strip. The staff were helpful and friendly, especially the housekeeping staff! Overall very positive things to say about B2 Night Bazaar!will recommend!

This styles itself as a boutique hotel, i.e. lots of bare concrete, big spacious rooms with minimalist decor. The bed was comfy, the aircon worked fine, the bathroom was clean though smelt a little of urine, and the TV only had Thai channels. My view was of another building about 3 metres away. The rooms also weren't very soundproof - you could hear everything that people in the corridor outside were saying. However, this was very cheap and therefore offered excellent value.

This boutique budget hotel was worth the money. It was clean and in a good location - near the central clock tower and night market. It would be good to know just a little of the local language since that is mainly the only way to communicate with the front desk if you have any special needs.
I would recommend this hotel for all travelers to Chaing Rai.

Room Tip: Be sure NOT to get a room near the elevator or stairs if you don't want to hear people coming an...

Once I reached the hotel, I waited for 15 minutes to check in. The staffs are slow and passive. Once I got my key card, my partner and I headed to room 306. I was surprised when I was welcomed by 'an uncleansed'room. The housekeepers had not clean the room yet after the previous guest left. Then, the hotel team changed another room for us, room 303. The room looked nice and comfortable, this was the only good comment i can give, but the drainage system in the bathroom was clogged. A bad experience here! I will not pay the 2nd visit here
