It’s a pretty good hotel, along the river with a very relaxing view from the patio and rooms.

The rooms have a shower and a bathtub, all the amenities you may need.

I requested late checkout and the front staff was very helpful allowing us two more ours to came back from the tours to shower.

We only spent one night at this hotel as we were on an 8 day tour of Thailand but I thought this was a lovely hotel. The extensive lounge and reception areas were very well maintained with lovely carpeting and comfortable furniture. The staff were all very pleasant, including a traditionally dressed gentleman that "managed " the lifts. Our bedroom was clean and comfortable, and my one complaint would be concerning the double bed. Each time one of us moved, the other rolled about too- that's why we usually opt for singles or for king size.
There was a cheesecake bar in the lobby with an enticing bogof offer at 5.00pm. unfortunately we were so stuffed from lunch that even I couldn't face one. Another member of our group did and she said it was lovely.
The hotel has a really big pool outside and after a hard days touring it was wonderful to relax in and out of the water-the whole area is kept very clean.
The hotel is situated by the river-very pretty views, and also unlike some of the other that we used, it was close to a few local shops. In addition it is a short distance by Tup Tup to the city-the fare is inexpensive. There are also a couple of shops in the hotel-one offers luxury silks and pashminas etc. The other had a mixture of wares-I bought some thai trousers and they were very reasonably priced and of much superior workmanship and material than those on the markets-wish I'd got some more now!!!!
The breakfast was more than ample- you can eat in or outside overlooking the river. I would certainly stay here again if we revisited the area.

Very nice hotel with a really nice pool. The room was very nice and clean and the staff was very accommodating. The breakfast buffet was on par with other buffet breakfasts in Thailand. The pool has a bar where you can enjoy your drinks while sitting in the pool. It's not located near town so a taxi or tuk-tuk is required if you want to visit the city.

Room Tip: West facing rooms offer spectacular sunsets

What a beautiful hotel situated right by the Maekong river. The grounds are lovely with lot's of fresh air and pretty surrounding gardens. It was a nice change of scenery, very tranquil and serene. The rooms were standard, could be more updated, but it wasn't bad at all. It was comfortable. Buffet breakfast was delcious with plenty of options, you can even eat outside and overlook the river.

We were part of the Sinorama Holidays tour Fasinating Thailand and China The Land of Smiles Tour and stayed 2 nights at this hotel. We were greeted on arrival with a tiny cup of ginger tea. Very nice.

Quite surprised that the hotel room has only twin beds. The rooms are old style, carpets, and dark. The bathroom has a sliding door with wood slates. The lights are controlled by a box on the night table which took some figuring out at first. The view from our room was beautiful with mountains in the background and far off a white buddha. Just outside the Buffet Breakfast area you are surrounded by beautiful gardens of flowers, wagon, swing and the river. It is very scenic. You can experience the feeling of serenity.

In the mornings to greet us by the elevators with a "Namaste" was a very nice man dressed in one of the cultural costumes which included the cutest hat on him.
