The accommodations were wonderful, the beds comfortable and the grounds beautiful.
We stayed here as part of our Smartours package. The room that we were assigned was very nice and roomie next to a pond, it was wonderful to hear the frogs and things in the warm night air. We went to have a late dinner because of our late arrival, as they knew a large part of our group would be doing so, our guide had called ahead, but it was as if we were putting them out. They did not give us the warm, kind greeting that I would have expected, and it wasn't much better at breakfast time. The breakfast buffet was nothing special and again employees were not very friendly. The swimming pool was wonderful, inviting and just walking around the grounds was a little slice of nature and heaven.
It is a distance from town and that in its self has its pluses and minuses.
It could have been one of our favorite places to stay...

We arrived late to discover that our pre-booked standard room was occupied but got upgraded to a villa at no extra charge. A very professional and service-minded attitude. The villa was spacious and comfortable brickstone building, situated along a pond with other villas. The grounds of the resort had a generous masterplan with greenery and water features. I would not class it as a 5-star resort, but it's good-quality accomodation and good value for its price. The only negative was the breakfast buffet, which was busy and somewhat lacking in variety- compared to what you would expect from a place like this. But overall, a pleasant stay away from the city centre.

We spent one night here as part of a tour and this was our stop in Chiang Rai. The hotel is set in very nice garden surrounds and is spread over quite a large area.

On arrival we were greeted by friendly staff and shown to our rooms. The rooms were very large and while not ultra modern were well appointed, clean and very comfortable. We travelled into Chiang Rai for the night market so only had breakfast at the hotel. While breakfast was not great it was adequate and much better then some other hotels we had experienced.

All in all a very nice place to stay and would be happy to visit again if the opportunity presented itself.

The grounds are lush with ponds, canals, huge swimming pool and lovely bungalows. The reception area is a beautiful open pavilion. There is a feeling of a small village lost in time.
We stayed in the 3-story building. The rooms were typical hotel rooms, but with balcony. Our room was comfortable.
Food in the restaurant, our breakfast buffet, lunch buffet and the a la carte menu turned out to be excellent.
We used the hotel shuttle to go into town to the night market, but heard later that a taxi cost less (and one wouldn’t be tied to the shuttle’s schedule). We found scarves, those with open threads as part of the pattern, similar to those made by the Karen tribes at the Chiang Rai night market. We did not find these later in Chiang Mai.

Arrived at this hotel only to find my mate had booked us in for the next day. The hotel reception manager took care of us and upgraded our rooms to boot at no extra cost (not sure if I should have said that here lol)
We stayed in the bungalo's. Beds were good rooms were clean. Hotel bus into the city was easy and it cost less than 100bht to come home via taxi.
I'd go back here again no problems.
