“A "temples park"”
Reviewed 12 September 2013

Hatyai municipal park is distance away from the city, it is situated on the way to the Songkhla lake. It is best to take a hire car ( a tuk tuk may not able to climb the steep hill) and it is advisable to use the cable car for your up and down hill journey. I strongly recommend it to the elderly who wanted to visit this place. This place has a temple dedicated to the elephants god, a golden chinese Buddha temple. You can also visit the IceDome nearby .

“Nothing special.”
Reviewed 9 September 2013

Not worth RM22.40 for Malaysians. Not what I expected it to be. Cable car was horrible. When up to the hill (not that high, though),there's a temple & that's about it. The views up there were okay, nothing screams 'WOW'. Would not recommend friends to go. Better go to Langkawi's cable car instead.

“big park”
Reviewed 13 July 2013

Just about 3 km away from the town centre , a wonderful place to go.

whilst inside the park, it exist some religious building and statue, and also a very good restaurant near by.

This park is the green lung of the busy city, take the children to have a walk and play in the park .

For family pleasure, nowhere can be found.

many beautiful flowers were to be seen , nice landscaping !

“No A bad place to visit”
Reviewed 12 July 2013

Pretty nice place to visit, surroundings are well kept and clean. Despite the many attractions; mainly Buddhist statutes, interesting enough there are not many people around properly not a holiday season. I still enjoy my visit and like the place, the fare there cost me 500 baht to and fro. Better bargain before you take one of those tot tot (taxi), they then to over charge tourist.

“Hat Yai Municipal Park”
Reviewed 8 July 2013

If you are a buddhist or Buddha worshiper, or you want to take some beautiful photos for remembrance. This is ideal place. This location represent Hat Yai.
I spent about 500 baht for the trip to and fro to get there. Solo traveller may find it cheaper by taking a motorbike taxi if you like.
Big Buddha statues such the elephant God, four-face Buddha etc,
Best of all, you need not have to pay anything to get to the top of the hill unless you want to ride the cable car at the foot of the hill.
Try to visit there and pray to 4 faces Buddha, he may bring you everything from good fortune to good health !
