I stayed here for 2 nights. I arrived late around 12 pm. they guy a reception was there and waiting for me. The bed was comfortable, there was privacy curtain. There is a universal power plug at each bed together with locker (below the bed). They provide towel as well. The WC was clean but a little too small. The shower area was spacious though and they do have hot shower. They do not have minivan to airport and they do not no contact number to rent motorbike. The good news is, it is close to Lee Garden and the morning market and the clock tower, so walking is possible. The ASEAN Bazaar is a little far, 2km, possible walking but can use Grab as well.
The internet connection was good both at dorm and reception. They have a kitchen area as well.
Though it is good, but I think there are other places which can offer a better value (though I am not sure if backpackers hostel in HatYai is probably all like this). The staff could be more friendlier and helpful too.
Overall ok place.

This is a bunk style hostel located in the heart of the city. It is great for a short stay, especially if you are in transit to another destination. Every bed comes with an attached safe, reading light, power socket and a drawer. However, the drawer is a little too small for a large backpack This place is suitable for solo travelers but not for family. The showers are fine but the overall cleanliness of the bathrooms and toilets need improvement.

The hostel is located in central area where can enjoy food walking around. Hostel is clean only the bunk area, seems like no staff to take care in a proper time. The setting of hostel is more like a capsule hotel. People comes, proceeds to the bed, then check out. No interaction space/activity for people to socialize like other hostels at all.

The lady who runs the place is helpful. She arranged travel to Koh Lipe for a fair price. The sleeping area is well air conditioned and clean. The bathrooms are fairly clean, although the toilet and showers were cramped, making it awkward to get out. Soap and shampoo were available. The bed was rather hard but I'm used to those. In each bunk, there is a light, power socket, small lockbox, and large lockbox. You are provided a towel. I was offered coffee and toast before leaving in the morning.
