Lovely place

4.0 of 5 bubblesReviewed 22 Jan 2019via mobile
Great location in the heart of Hua Hin within easy walking distance to the main road, great bars and restaurants and all that the city has to offer. The hotel is directly on the beach with 2 lovely pools as well as beds on the beach. The beach at this point is superb. We stayed room only as we prefer to always eat out at different places. We only ate at the hotel once and had an overpriced and poor quality meal. I certainly wouldn’t pay for breakfast or any other meal options, stock the fridge with drinks and snacks and take meals out as you are surrounded by good bars and restaurants at varying prices. The 2 free bottles of drinking water each day were much appreciated. Beds were changed each day, clean, fresh and comfortable. Can’t really fault the place really.

I had been wanting to stay here for a few years after a friend recommended it. We were disappointed - lots of small things that left us feeling like we had paid over the odds and should have gone somewhere else.
The beach location is lovely, albeit a narrow frontage to the beach. You can walk along the beach to the town and easy access to markets and restaurants. But for nearly £280 a night - even at Christmas time - there are a lot better serviced, more up to date, more charming hotels in a similar location.

Stayed here a very enjoyable 6 nights with family from the UK. Loved the close proximity to the centre of Hua Hin. Very quiet. The gardens were gorgeous. The beachside pool area was lovely, and a great spot to people & horse watch. Having breakfast by the pool was a very pleasant experience indeed. I found the staff very helpful and friendly. We were going on to Sri Lanka for 2 weeks after our stay so chose a standard room which was a little basic but very clean and functional, however there was very little storage in this room. Had this been our only hotel during our 3 week holiday in Asia, we would definitely have paid to have an upgraded room. Other family members had upgraded rooms which were certainly worth the higher nightly rate. This hotel represented great value for money. We would stay here again.

Room tip: Standard rooms are rather basic. Upgraded rooms well worth extra charge.

Just returned from our stay at this lovely Hotel. Really great location, being on the beach, and within walking distance of all the night markets, bars and restaurants. Two Pool areas, but it is the Infinity Pool overlooking the beach that is the most popular. Not a big lounger area, so if you want to sit around either pool, you've got to be quick! We weren't but were happy to sit on a Hotel Lounger on the beach, so you have the option of a dip in the sea, or walk the few steps up to the pool. Gorgeous!
Breakfast was plentiful, and we ate in the Pool Bar most lunchtimes which was superb.
All of the staff are super friendly; whatever you want, they will provide if possible. Special mention to Wichote, the Pool Supervisor and part-time Barman, and Suphachai, the Beach Supervisor...both really great guys. Also, on an internship there was a Mexican lady Pamela, who was lovely and helpful for me to speak Spanish to, as my Thai is non-existent!!
Rooms were well appointed if not luxurious, but everything was there for you, and good Air-Con, which was important.
All in all, a great stay, and a very nice Hotel.

Located relatively near clock tower and day/night markets in Hua Hin. We moved around in taxi or tutu, grab services.

Rooms are well decorated with sufficient amenities for guests. However, some of the basic rooms may not be ideal for energy sensitive folks, not sure what were installed above the rooms. The sound of generators or high voltage signals could be felt. Anyway, we paid for upgraded rooms and that was resolved.

Overall Service is good at Laksasubha. However, there seem to be some “hard-sell” services around the pool area. Guests who did not take up the “happy hours” drinks and BBQ (1150B per pax) were not too welcomed to sun at the beach/pool. One of their “supervisor” or senior staff has been observed to be pestering every new faces appearing at the pool for such services.

Some renovation is still in progress around the resort, you may have to bear with the smell of paint, some gluelike chemical and some pockets of mess.
