I had booked and paid for seven days, but left instantly, as soon as I saw the room I was meant to occupy. I felt there was something clearly wrong here. The windows are tiny and hinged in the centre of the frame. In an emergency, it would be impossible to do anything other than poke your head through. I was surprised that only one other reviewer seemed to have picked up on this, suggesting that the owners must have run out of funds during the construction. The reviewer and his family left after one day having paid for two days in advance. To me this is not about money, or a partial refund, which the hotel refused, but about the potentially catastrophic outcome that would occur in case of a fire. Given the layout of the hotel, people would simply be trapped in their rooms, a scenario too ghastly to contemplate. A place that so clearly fails basic fire safety standards should not be listed through any booking site. It is simply a potential death trap, as we have seen too many times in the past.
