We chose this to "just hang out at the hotel", as it was for a 4-day holiday and we didn't need to do sight seeing, shopping, elephant trek or any other Thai typical activiites. Greatly enjoyed to hang out here.

Actually I was pleasantly surprised about the food throughout all of Hua Hin, whatever the cuisine we tried. If I went back to Hua Hin, I want to come back here.

No doubt, the best place in Hua Hin !
Its perfect combination of elegance and contemporary. The all hotel is stylish, but you feel relaxed, comfortable and pleasant. Luxury rooms with great terrace and the best shower we have ever tried. Internet is available everywhere and its free of charge. Hotel fits to young lovers same as for families with kids.
Stuff is friendly and very desecrate. It has spectacular view from the reception across the greenery field and swimming pool which ended to the sea. Place is simply gorges, absolutely no objection ! If you can say no to hedonism, don't miss morning yoga class or evening thai chi. Sunset from jacuzzi stays in memories forever.

Stayed for only 3 nights unfortunately with my wife and 2 kids (6 & 8 years old), and another couple. 2 rooms in total. We were in the Premier rooms if i was not mistaken and all i can say about this place is that i wished we were still there...

It was total relaxation at its best. Great hotel. Faciltities were decent enough for what we wanted to do which was to chill out. The pool area was great. The view was fantastic out to the beach. And the beach in itself was not deep, and not full of aggressive hawkers etc.

If you were looking for good accodations, great location, and just the opportunity to relax, i believe this property will get you there. If you want mass, loud, crowd, then maybe this property is not for you.

We also had a 4 piece string ensemble play in the evenings pool front. A saxophonist on another night we were there. And the chill out jazz bar with the local singer and her team. All great chill out music to add to the class.

A wonderful experience i would gladly do again.

F&B wise, perhaps not to complex as they figured many tourist would rather be out in the evenings, meant limited menus in my opnion. Not wrong at all. However, for poolside during the day, i thought a more comprehensive/ extensive menu could be made available, and snack/ bar food too for the nibbles during the course of the day we got hungry or the kids needed a top up.

Staff spoke good English. Were accomodating almost always.

Had the privlege of staying at the Intercon from 24-30Nov, 2010. Our room was 3505 and overlooked the pool and ocean. From the moment we arrived I knew this was going to be a wonderful stay, staff were attentive and courteous during chk-in and personally escorted us to our room. We also appreciated how they pointed out all of the various controls and switches in the room. The balcony is massive and you can easily spend a day on your deck which offers plenty of privacy. Our favorite aspect of the resort however were the pools and grounds. The ambiance was outstanding and for a small property there were plenty of public and private spaces around to accommodate all tastes. During our stay we enjoyed all of the dining options and again these were all outstanding. The breakfast buffet offered a generous balance between Asian/Western choices and unlike many other breakfast buffet's in Asia, there was different dishes on offer daily which is always appreciated during 5-10 night stay.

Over the years, we have stayed in many properties in the HUA HIN/CHA AM area - these include: Hilton, Marriott, Veranda and Hyatt. The Intercontinental however was the best of the bunch and we will definitely visit the property again in 2011.

Overall a very enjoyable stay. Beautiful setting and layout for the pool area and proximity to the beach. Breafast can be improved. Spa service is attentive but limited in facilities and does not have male therapist on staff.

Coming to Hua Hin Intercontinental from the opulence of Bangkok Dusit Thani we were first slightly disappointed by the seeming simplicity of this boutique resort only to discover that it is - in its quiet way - simply perfect. The rooms are exquisite, - very modern and elegant with a touch of Orient, quite stunning. We had a terrific relaxing balcony with the views of sea and the swimming pool. Pool is beautiful too. Breakfasts in the private sala amidst the water pools are unforgettable, so was the dinner in the Thai restaurant. Staff friendly and caring, excellent internet connection. The eerie sound of a lonely saxophone during the sunsets still lingers in my memory. One of my best birthday celebrations... (The wine was too expensive though, got a bottle of good australian elsewhere.)

This is an awesome hotel with fabulous management. They needed to change my booking because of an event in the hotel (their grand opening) but they more than made up for it by bending over backwards for us. This included a 3 hour complimentary chauffeur driven ride from Bangkok airport and back again as well as a meal credit. Nothing was too difficult for them. One morning our wake up call failed to deliver so in lieu of that mistake they served up a private breakfast in the room. So you get the picture on service. I cannot recommend enough the spa package - for £30 above the room rate we both got 90 minute massages every day and they were top notch. Breakfast was brilliant and so is the reataurant near the beach - try the slow cooked waygu beef!! The rooms are faultless (apart from they need better toilett flushes!), the property is new and amazing and the staff (particularly the manager) are the best. Rafa Nadal (tennis player)stayed here a couple of weeks before us and apparantly loved it, so if its good for him....
