“Nice Hotel”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 21 January 2011

We stayed here for 2 nights starting from 6th Jan.,11. Very Plush hotel indeed. Was happy that I Used my priority club points on a good resort.

Rooms are very nice and airy. From the room's balcony, we could look at the pool and the beach (but we couldn't find direct access to beach from the hotel! There was a half-galss partition between hotel & beach)

Due to latenight partying, didn't had a chance to go to breakfast! But had lunch on the day we checked out and the italian food, which we ordered, is simply yummy!

Otherwise, loved every minute of our stay over here!

Staff are very courteous, efficient and helpful.

Can't ask for anything more from this hotel!! The hotel is very new and gorgeous. The breakfast buffet was wonderful in terms of variety and taste. They change the menu of breakfast everyday so you will never get tired of the same food every morning. I was very impressed to see that the amenity goods provided was Loccitane which I adored.

The staff were very friendly and ready to greet you with smile on their faces (altough some at the restaurant were not quite so, but this was not a point to blame this hotel). You may have noticed that there are not so many smiles on Thai's faces nowadays despite its name "The land of smiles", but you still can get some at this hotel.

The hotel is very close to Villa Market, a big shopping center in Hua Hin, so you will never find any difficulty going or dining out. There are 2-3 Thai traditional massage parlours nearby which came in handy.

The only downside of the hotel is its parking. I went there by car and found out that the car park was very small. The hotel property is not so extensive and they has tried to use it effectively. Sometime we could park our car but had to struggle to get out of the car due to limited space.

Definitely recommend and would return to this hotel again!!!

The IC Hua Hin Ressort is located a little South of Hua Hin city centre.
But Tuktuks are always available for 120 Baht to take you Downtown.

The ressort is fairly new (one year) and everything is designed and equipped with up-to-date equipment.

The hotel has one main pool at the beachfront. Complimentary water is served all day.

Breakfast is served in the main building and variety is huge! Cooked-to-order eggs and live cooking stations are a great experience in the morning.

The IC has three restaurants that serve a very good quality of Food. One mediterranean, one Thai and one Seafood restaurant offer a good variety, albeit the pricing in town is much better.

Highlight of the hotel is the SPA! Very well trained and friendly stuff let's you relax tremendously! I booked a room rate that did include daily treatments and I loved it!

Gym is also well equipped, but I suggest a good run at The beach, If weather and tide allow.

This is our 4th trip to Hua Hin. We had stayed in Sofitel for all previous three stays, last one was in 2005. Staff was great, polite n organized at the Intercontinental. We went to Sofitel for a meal and the level of service is definitely not on par with Intercontinental Hua Hin.

Really enjoyable trip with fantastic weather, had all our meals there during our 6 days 5 nites stay but still no complaints. Although the aircon somehow directly blowing into our faces n heads had gave us both some discomfort during our sleep, had a rancid smelling minibar (not that we used it). The beach area near the Intercontinental is definitely far better than Sofitel.. Saw Kim Clijsters & other tennis players in town for the local tennis Open..

Probably planning a return trip back there in early March with inlaws ..

We chose this to "just hang out at the hotel", as it was for a 4-day holiday and we didn't need to do sight seeing, shopping, elephant trek or any other Thai typical activiites. Greatly enjoyed to hang out here.

Actually I was pleasantly surprised about the food throughout all of Hua Hin, whatever the cuisine we tried. If I went back to Hua Hin, I want to come back here.

No doubt, the best place in Hua Hin !
Its perfect combination of elegance and contemporary. The all hotel is stylish, but you feel relaxed, comfortable and pleasant. Luxury rooms with great terrace and the best shower we have ever tried. Internet is available everywhere and its free of charge. Hotel fits to young lovers same as for families with kids.
Stuff is friendly and very desecrate. It has spectacular view from the reception across the greenery field and swimming pool which ended to the sea. Place is simply gorges, absolutely no objection ! If you can say no to hedonism, don't miss morning yoga class or evening thai chi. Sunset from jacuzzi stays in memories forever.

Stayed for only 3 nights unfortunately with my wife and 2 kids (6 & 8 years old), and another couple. 2 rooms in total. We were in the Premier rooms if i was not mistaken and all i can say about this place is that i wished we were still there...

It was total relaxation at its best. Great hotel. Faciltities were decent enough for what we wanted to do which was to chill out. The pool area was great. The view was fantastic out to the beach. And the beach in itself was not deep, and not full of aggressive hawkers etc.

If you were looking for good accodations, great location, and just the opportunity to relax, i believe this property will get you there. If you want mass, loud, crowd, then maybe this property is not for you.

We also had a 4 piece string ensemble play in the evenings pool front. A saxophonist on another night we were there. And the chill out jazz bar with the local singer and her team. All great chill out music to add to the class.

A wonderful experience i would gladly do again.

F&B wise, perhaps not to complex as they figured many tourist would rather be out in the evenings, meant limited menus in my opnion. Not wrong at all. However, for poolside during the day, i thought a more comprehensive/ extensive menu could be made available, and snack/ bar food too for the nibbles during the course of the day we got hungry or the kids needed a top up.

Staff spoke good English. Were accomodating almost always.
