We came to the hotel without reservation and the room was ready in 5 minutes. 25€/1000baht per night in standard room was OK price for this location. (Night market is just around the corner.) Room was simple but clean. Bed was firm and we slept like babies. We asked for a kettle and they immediately gave us one. When the reception counter was a bit crowded and we had to wait 30seconds for our room key they were sincerely sorry about that "incident".

Overall nice and helpful staff. I would recommend this to my friends!!

We stayed there a few years ago over New Years. They had just finished building the newer part, which we stayed in and it was fantastic. The owner recommended we go to the temple for New Years Eve and it was magical. Got a little wet from the blessing, but it was all good. This hotel is walking distance to the night food market(yummy). The beach is a longer walk, but you're on holidays and it's Hua Hin. We actually drive to the military beach and swim there. A lot less crowded. I do recommend staying in the newer building if you're looking for something a little more modern. Anyways, go enjoy Thailand, and say hi to the owner for us.

Room Tip: Don't forget to smile, you're on holidays!

We booked into the Baan Manthana for 3 nights and extended our stay by an extra night in a different block within the Hotel as we were enjoying our visit to Hua Hin. As per the title the location is excellent for access to the night market and some very good restaurants - about 2 minutes walk. Both of our rooms were clean, the first however had the worst bed I have experienced during my recent travels in Thailand, it was very soft and even appeared to 'wobble' upon its legs thus not making for a good sleep. Our second room was more modern, brighter and the bed a lot firmer - as the uplift in daily rate reflected.

There were tea and coffee making facilities which we enjoy when they are available. Whilst the staff helped us by providing an additional nights booking at a busy time we felt they were pretty unremarkable in general - hardly seen and not there with a welcome as you enter and leave the hotel during your stay - while this may not mean much it is the only place we noticed it.

In summary, I have no major complaints regarding this hotel but just feel there was something missing in terms of Hospitality despite the excellent location.

Room Tip: If booking here I would recommend paying the extra for a more modern room within the newer block.

We stayed at the Baan Manthana over Christmas and really enjoyed our stay. The hotel is only a few minutes walk from the night market and you can walk most places you'd need to for food and bars. The room we stayed in was in the newer part of the building and was modern and clean. Water was replaced daily. We wanted to stay for an extra night outside of our booking so we moved into the older part of the building where the room was a lot more dated. The wifi worked well for us. I would recommend this hotel if you want a no frills price tag and be nice and central in Hua Hin.

We arrived in Hua Hin and this hotel was right near where the bus dropped us. Luckily they had a room. The location is fantastic, right near the night market and an easy walk to the beach. There is a great deli just along the road which does some wonderful food. The room was large and clean with a nice balcony, good wi fi connection. Fairly quite at night except for the noisy aircon and you could hear noise from the rooms above and next door. Staff really sweet. Good value for the area.
