This was my first trip to Hua Hin but it was spoilt by the hotel staff. We were not greeted at all when checking in, not told where the breakfast was being served and no coupons were issued. This led to unpleasantness the next morning -- the waitress was downright rude....not like what the Thais are so famous for.. their charming smiles and great hospitality! The property itself is nice as it is a boutique hotel with few rooms so privacy is guaranteed It is sandwiched in between 2 restaurants, one a French, but with an expensive menu. Also, don't believe what the hotels say online -- the beach is not that close! It is a good 15 minutes walk and not 200 m as claimed! The only sea facing hotels are the big brand names. I would go back to Whiesands if the staff are properly trained!
