We stayed at this hotel for eight nights and loved it. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the rooms are just beautiful. We had the apparent lowest grade of room but it was beautiful. The pool was just wonderful and the fixtures and fittings top spec.
We had a room on the top floor so had the sun on us all day so these are definitely the best rooms to have.
The hotel itself is boutique style and not a sprawling complex like some, it's very well furnished and creates a relaxed but classy feel.
I would say that the hotel is not really suited to children as there does not appear to be any entertainment for them. This suited us and I think they could market it as an adults only hotel. There's a lovely roof bar which we used once and is very quiet looking over the sea.
Breakfast was plentiful and very good quality.

We didn't use the spa but it did look very nice, it is pricey however when there are local services you can use cheaply in less attractive surroundings.

It's definitely one of if not e best hotels we have stayed in and we would love to return.

Room Tip: Ask for a top floor.

I stayed for 4 nights last week almost 12 months since my first stay, and was pleased to see the quality of the resort and staff have if possible improved from my previous stay. The food is the best quality I have experienced in Thailand, and the staff are fantastic!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Cape Nidhra. Our family of four (two children of 7 & 11) stayed for two weeks from March 24 to April 7 and we thoroughly enjoyed everything about this hotel.

We were given a deluxe sky pool suite on the fourth floor in the block closest to the reception area, huge room with big balcony, private pool, wonderful huge bathroom with both shower and large bathtub. Everything was clean and neat and every night there was a turndown service. Blackout curtains which really worked. Flat-screen TV with DVD, excellent WIFI both in the room and on the balcony and pool-area. Comfy sofa in the room and daybed outside on the balcony. The temperature in the private pool was +27, so no complaints from us. Great for a dip in the morning or in the afternoon when you returned from the sea. We were not disturbed by the traffic, even though we were in the block closest to the road, so no problem.

Breakfast buffet which contained pretty much anything you could wish for, pancake/egg cook who served up eggs any which way you wanted them. Lots of bread and pastries and a great variety of juices as well as a lot of fresh fruits, really outstanding!

The pool was kept clean and we were always given sun-chairs, even though we sometimes arrived quite late. The hotel is on the beautiful beach where you can try horse-riding, go for a massage and have wonderful lunches at the small restaurants just a few minutes walk away. In the afternoon the staff would always offer a small snack, ice-cream, macaroon or an ice-lolly. Also, there was a welcome mingle party on Tuesday evenings by the pool and a movie evening every other Friday, also by the pool with free drinks and pop-corn. All these things were such lovey gestures and were much appreciated by us.

We also tried the spa at the hotel which was really luxurious and a wonderful experience.

Very helpful staff at the reception, they booked several excursions for us, e g to go elephant riding and a trip to the water-land a few km away.

The hotel is situated on a busy road with a 7/11 just across the road for snacks & beverages, next to it is a night market which is fun to visit. A short tuk-tuk ride away there is a shopping mall which we visited one evening, good value! Five minutes by tuk-tuk to go to the beachfront with all the wonderful restaurants there and another five minutes by tuk-tuk to the big night market.
The only little complaint was the lack of storing space, we would have liked a few drawers to unpack our clothes, we managed anyway, so not a problem really.

In short, this hotel made us very happy and we would not hesitate to recommend it.

This hotel is amazing, real five star property. The location is in the middle of hua hin. Market village and the grand market are very close (nice for shopping). The rooms are big with everything you need and your own pool (very relaxing after a hot day). The pool and beach area are also nice (see the pictures).
The only bad thing is that we are leaving in four days.....

We stayed in a garden suite at Cape Nidhra for 8 nights in March 2013. It is very difficult to fault this hotel. The staff are helpful and friendly, the entire hotel beautifully designed and lovingly cared for.

The rooms are very large and all have private pools. Being on the ground floor ours was a little cool but not uncomfortably so.

They have thought of everything, not only are there robes, slipper and beach towels in your room but a gorgeous beach tote as well.

It is an easy 10 minute stroll along the sand to the very epicentre of Hua Hin, the famous night markets are an easy walk and the offshoot villa night market directly across the road. The shopping mall is also a 5 minute walk.

We did the cooking class which is highly recommended and I would also recommend the spa services. Obviously they are not as cheap as the massages you can get all over town for 300baht an hour but the atmosphere and service is out of this world and in fact for the offering the prices are very reasonable. Spoil yourself at least once! Also make sure you take advantage of the beautiful view from the upstairs bar at sunset.

We had a fantastic relaxing stay here and hope very much to return. The only slightly negative thing I can think of was that our pool area was also very popular with mosquitoes... probably less of a problem in the rooms not on ground floor but the extra space and advantage of no stairs or lift in order to access the room is a plus. Oh and the rooms do not have sea views but that would have been impossible to achieve given the long narrow site.

Room Tip: The ground floor rooms are larger than those upstairs though we didn't find having the garden space around the pool was something we actually used. Not having direct access from the bathroom to the pool was not an issue in the larger rooms on the ground floor though would probably be an advantage in the upstairs rooms. The views from some of the balconies of the upstairs rooms are a little ordinary thanks to the poor landscaping of the adjoining property.
