We met the owner of this resturant last year and promised our selves we would visit. The service was dreadfull there was more staff than customers.they were more interested in chatting than looking after us.we took another 4 friends with us very embarrasing
The furniture needed attention
Given the locatiom
It looked very tired

“Terrible experience”
Reviewed 14 February 2014 via mobile

We saw this place advertised in Hua Hin magazine, we called to reserve table for 3. We were seated on a table away from the nice patio are and it was quite unstable. We asked to move and were told all other tables were reserved. it was advertised as a wine bar, bistro style restaurant but they only had house red and white wine at 180 baht per glass
When the wine arrived it was a considerably short measure.
We ordered our meals it took 45 minutes before two out of the three arrived. In the meantime we moved to another bench style seat as the table was very wobbly. Two of us bad finished our meal and the third had still not arrived after 1hour and 10 mins.
We canceled the meal and asked for the bill, it took 3 requests for the bill to arrive and they charged us for the meal we didn't get. It then took another 10 minutes to get the correct bill.
When we got up to leave our backsides were soaking wet, the padded seat that we thought felt cold was actually WET!
This place is not what it claims to be, a very disappointing evening.

“Comically terrible”
Reviewed 14 February 2014 via mobile

Dinner for four on Valentine's day... After one hour of waiting for our food, we walked out, so I can't comment on the quality of food... You'd think they'd manage a set menu, right? Staff was incompetent to the point of hilarity. Drinks came with lipstick marks on the glass- possibly a romantic touch for Vday? Ummm, no, just filthy. Forget it...

“Old food and bad service”
Reviewed 6 January 2014

We we're a party of five dining at the Living Room Bistro and it was the worst place that we have tried in Hua Hin.

To begin with half of us got their starters 20 minutes before the rest. When we got our ordered calamari it tasted like mold (in essence it tasted like a wet towel that has been laying in a bag for too long) and we immediately explained it to the waiter and sent it back to the kitchen. The rest of the food was nothing to brag about - plain and without much taste. We were the only ones in the restaurant on a Monday night at 8, which should probably have turned on our alarm bells.

The staff seemed to be eager to get us to leave and when we asked for the bill they had charged us for the bad calamaris. We let them know that it was old food and that we had sent it back without eating it, but they insisted that we paid for it. Not wanting to get into an argument over 360 bath we paid.

I can't recommend this place. Food is poor, service is bad and it is over-priced.
