“Worst Day in Hua Hin”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 22 July 2013

This was a total waste of a day! first of all they were late to pick us up and then the taxi guy drives like a maniac. The boat trip is boring with no tour guide and not a soul that can speak English. We got to a monkeyLESS Island(Not a monkey in sight), sailed through a DolphinLESS Dolphin Bay (Not a dolphin in sight). At lunch time we had microwave warmed chicken and salads. My daughter who is six years old, fell deep into the bottom of the boat through a hole. I managed to get her out while the crew just stood and watched and even laughed at what was happening. When we got home the Taxi driver stopped along the road where our Condo was and told us to walk the rest of the way. What a waste of 5100Baht! You can see plenty of monkeys on Chopstick Hill in Hua Hin and don't have to pay a cent for it!

“A relaxing day, plenty of space during off season”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 9 July 2013

You must know what you buy. This cruise is not non stop action packed, it is more contemplative with parts that might happen and some that may not.

We were a family with teenagers and we had fun. An experienced sailor spotted the dolphins while the rest of us missed it. The monkeys were plenty of fun and not as aggressive as elsewhere in SE Asia. The fishing was great (me and my son were the only ones who landed fish) some others brought very good sized fish to the surface but tried to bring it on board without suing the net, so the line brook. Upper deck has place outside in sun and in shadow.

The lunch was as advertised, chicken and rice and to top it off - plenty of fruit.

The personal spoke some English. The skipper could explain certain things when asked, he even let kids try to steer the boat.

Siam Pearl offers less commission to the ticket vendors, that is why other boats have more guests.

“Monkey Island”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 27 April 2013

I had a really great time on the boat. The view was really pretty and the monkeys were pretty cute. I especially liked it when one of them came to me and I could feed it right out of my hand. The food on the boat was also really good and i had a great time fishing, i didnt really catch anything but it was fun nontheless. All and all: perfect!

“A really great experience”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 27 April 2013

The moment we arrived we were immediately welcomed by the crew with the utmost hospitality. The seats we took granted us a wonderful view over the environment, and instantly made us feel confortable. The boat trip to monkey island actually gave us a couple of welcome moments to enjoy the beautiful environment, and basically to become totally relaxed. Even before coming to shore we already noticed the cute little monkeys awaiting our arrival. This time was literally amazing - and the fact that these adorable animals had just given birth to even more adorable baby monkeys, made this a once in a lifetime experience. Afterwards, we were given some time to take a welcome dive in the refreshing water. The meal that we served was - to describe it in one word - correct: you could see the food was prepared in hygienic circumstances and this was reflected in taste and quantity. To conclude: we give this boattrip a well-earned 10 out of 10, the crew was really friendly and helpful to assist us while fishing, the monkeys were amazing and the experience in its entirety was absolutely to be recommended. See you again next february ;-)

“Great experience!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 21 April 2013

This boat trip was a wonderfull experience! You can relax in the chairs on top of the boat, with a beautiful view over the sea and the surrounding mountains.
The trip leads you to Monkey Island, where you can feed the monkeys. At least these monkeys aren't as aggressive as the other monkeys in Thaïland, which made it a very pleasent moment. When we get back on the boat, we get the possibility to take a swim in the sea. Next we get a nice meal, with lots of freshly made vegetables (which can be trusted, because the vegetables are cleaned with bottled water) and grilled chicken. We end this boat trip with a little bit of fishing, but unfortunately we didn't catch anything.
In short is this a great experience for the whole family!
