This was an amazing shop with lots of great products. We had a hard time choosing what we wanted to buy since we wanted everything! The people working there were so nice and friendly. Looking forward to be able to shop online:)

“Our best experience in Thailand! ”
Reviewed 30 July 2014 via mobile

Quite simply one of the best shops we have ever been to! Extremely helpful and knowledgeable staff who know lots about the myriad wonderful products, how they are made and who made them. The best thing is that all of the products are ethically sourced and money goes back to thailand and it's people. The products are high quality and beautiful and we wish we could have bought so much more! Do yourself a favour and pay a visit!

“Excellent shop for truly Thai products”
Reviewed 23 July 2014

My daughter first discovered Family Tree on line and asked me to take a look. I did, and have been back twice. I am impressed by the wide variety of their products - silk and leather and leaves are among the natural Thai raw materials used. Staff is very knowledgeable about each of the products and can tell you where it came from and the process used in its creation. Prices are good and it's comforting to know that the profits return to the artist, usually someone who is undergoing some sort of struggle such as tsunami recovery or family strife. The shop itself is not difficult to locate and well worth a trip or two or even three! My daughter is coming to Hua Hin in September - we will definitely be shopping at Family Tree.

“Skip the cheap Trinkets buy something nice and do something good”
Reviewed 16 July 2014

I like the night market; the excitement the smells and of course the stall after stall of cheap trinkets that supposedly are made in Thailand or represent Hua Hin. You can bargain maybe find something unique but mostly the same old same old.

Or, you can get something very nice, definitely made in Thailand and something that contributes to the good of hard working artisans. That is what special at the Family Tree. Yes, a little more expensive than the trinkets at the Market or the side street-- but something that is beautiful made and helps native Thai have dignity in making a living.

I bought some hand made soap-- a beautiful dress, but best of all beautiful hand carved elephants made from teak. Each item has a story, talk to your hosts and you will get the story which makes the items come alive.

Good value and great story.
