Overall, I quite enjoy my stay at Amari Huahin..The hotel service and spa is pretty nice
The price for spa service is pretty reasonable. The breakfast does not have many varieties but still comarable to pther hotel. The beach is pretty far from hotel, ime. 400 meters away, but there are nice shuttles for the visitors.

Thanks for a nice accommodations , i was enjoyed swiming in a big pool. Room decorates in warm tone, quiet and relax. BBQ dinner was so great with a very reasonable price , staff were friendly and helpful....sadden that i could not remember his name. Foods at breakfast e.g.cripy bacon, stir fried noodle, soup were soooo salty. Khun Attakorn (mosaic restaurant) was very friendly and helpful. Overall experience is good and will return back in my next trip.

Rooms, bed, bathroom, food and beverage, poolside and beach bar.
All great places to spent your time.

Friendly English speaking staff makes your stay really enjoyable.
What ever you need, action on the spot!
I definitely will return soon there!

I booked a car from the hotel to collect us from the airport, but for some reason it wasn't sent. Having spent over half an hour trying to locate the expected vehicle a representative from Amari Hotels arrived at the airport, however she was collecting guest for the Bangkok hotel, not ours.

I explained our situation and she telephoned our hotel, they told me they could not find any e-mail regarding our collection. About ten minutes later our hotel called back as they had found my booking and their confirmation e-mail.

They apologised and told me we could wait for them to send a car (three hour trip) or pay for a taxi outside. I was then told I would have to pay cash to the driver (3500 baht) and I would be refunded on arrival by the hotel.

So finally we arrived at the hotel at 8pm having cleared customs etc at the airport around 315pm. We were not given a full refund, instead we were told we would be provided with BHT2000 credit for food/beverages in the hotel and given an room upgrade.

The room upgrade was not for a better room, but for one with a full view of the pool instead of the partial view we had. Nor was it for the full nine nights of our stay, but just for the last four nights.

The following day I asked for the hotel manager to make contact me regarding this matter. The assistant manager, who was there as we checked in, spoke with me and reiterated their response. I still have not had any contact from the hotel manager.

We did not see the point of repacking and moving rooms with only four days of our stay, so asked to stay where we were and have the full refund that we had been promised at the airport. We were told we could stay in the same room, but they could only give us BHT500 more for food and beverages nothing else.

They made a mistake, quite a big mistake and they did not properly make amens for it. They did not even uphold their promise to refund the BHT3500 I had to spend on the taxi at the airport which I find offensive.

If they had, the incident would have been a foot note in this review and I would have happily explained how well they made up for the error; instead I'm not going to write anything else and hopefully shame the manager in to a positive, somewhat late response

Not only did we miss your pick-up from the airport, but we also missed the chance to appropriately make amend during your stay.

Even though you correctly mention that one never gets a second chance for a first impression, I hope that at least through our follow up we can show that your feedback has been taken very seriously and that we have taken action to prevent such incident from happening again. This hotel is quite new. A great location. Had a suite on top floor. Pool area fab. Breakfast busy over Chinese New Year. Only issue was waiting for pool towels most days (up to 30 mins). Go to Shoreline for lunch: the best food in the hotel.

Located a neat 5 minutes drive from the Hua Hin town, this new hotel is quite chic. Clean rooms, classy settings at the bar and the restaurant, and Amari's signature Breeze spa. Only negative is no direct beach access, but then you can hop on to a golf cart for a few minutes ride to the beach. The hotel's interiors are done supposedly to resemble the King's old palace; whatever the case be, it looks very refreshing and offers good service.

We stayed here in 2 rooms as four people for 2 nights last month and all of us really enjoyed our stay. We were upgraded to pool view which was a nice touch and the rooms were very modern and comfortable. Breakfast was nice with a large choice of Asian and European foods. The hotel was approx 5 mins drive from the centre of Hua Hin so was easily accessible. For the price we paid I don't think you could get better value for money!
