Owner description: The Black Mountain Water Park is spread over 48000Sqm and is situated a short distance from the centre of Hua Hin, just 15 minutes from town. It opened in 2011 and is now one of the most favourite tourist attractions in the region. Tourists and local residents have been extremely complimentary about the good times spent on the many exciting attractions. The Park is full of high quality, modern equipment that is all operated in line with the highest safety standards and supervised by highly trained lifeguards. We have a 17 metre high tower with 9 different slides, a spectacular wave pool which is made the biggest wave in Thailand, the lazy river, a beach/infinity pool and children's pool, inflatable "Wibit" Sport Park all providing the best fun filled day out a family can have.
Useful Information: Lockers / storage, Baby buggy parking, Bathroom facilities, Activities for older children, Food available for purchase

Not sure how they make money here, more lifeguards than guests on a weekday in November First class safety with life jackets and helmets available. Taxi 500 baht each way from hua hin, 600 entrance adults, 300 kids. Wake park next door too. Kids loved it. We didn't have food and were there for four hours, they didn't search our bags. If they charge a fortune for food they have to I imagine, the economics of having it there cannot be good. Rides are wide and varied and cater for all ages. Definitely worth a trip

An obvious observation, I know. A couple of people from our group aren't built for water so sat and observed form a distance, they had plenty to keep them entertained though. So if you are thinking of visiting but have members of your party that aren't interested, they will still have a good time!

Lots of different things to have a go on and enjoy. This was a great DAY out and would love to visit again. Was a bit disappointed with the food on site and the toilets weren't great, however don't let this put you off. You are welcome to bring your own food.

A good day to spend out. About half an hour away from hua hin centre. You need to organise transport back as there are no tuk tuks, buses etc as it's far out. We arranged a time with our driver when he dropped us. It opens at 10 and shuts at 5.There were no lines for any of the slides. The kids - 10 & 8 - were up and down all day. That was great. MAKE SURE YOU BRING CASH. They don't take cards??? It's cash only. Cash for the food card - they check your bag and food is taken out. You can get it on the way out - and cash for the lockers (100) and towel hire (100 with 200 deposit). The food is basic but not terrible. It's a very clean park. It does get very hot though. Sunscreen would be a must. There is plenty of shaded areas for eating and lying done but their small kids water playground is completely in the sun. Our 2 year old was not out there long - she was able to go down the slides with us. Staff weren't overly friendly but then again you don't really need their assistance after you have your locker and towel. If you have a family that loves water slides I'd recommend it.

We went because we got free tickets, to spent money for sach a park is crazy, the food is not edible and the toilets close to the restaurant have a very bad smell.
