Owner description: The Black Mountain Water Park is spread over 48000Sqm and is situated a short distance from the centre of Hua Hin, just 15 minutes from town. It opened in 2011 and is now one of the most favourite tourist attractions in the region. Tourists and local residents have been extremely complimentary about the good times spent on the many exciting attractions. The Park is full of high quality, modern equipment that is all operated in line with the highest safety standards and supervised by highly trained lifeguards. We have a 17 metre high tower with 9 different slides, a spectacular wave pool which is made the biggest wave in Thailand, the lazy river, a beach/infinity pool and children's pool, inflatable "Wibit" Sport Park all providing the best fun filled day out a family can have.
Useful Information: Food available for purchase, Baby buggy parking, Lockers / storage, Bathroom facilities, Activities for older children

We had a very enjoyable day at Black Mountain Water Park, but I have to say our kids were a bit disappointed with the variety of the slides. They had gone down all 9 of them in the first half hour and many of those 9 "different" slides are actually very similar to each other. One of the slides can only be done on a single inner tube, but when we were there, those were very hard to find -- only doubles were available (which is weird because this was the slow season and there were hardly any other people there). The infinity pool was fabulous and the kids loved the wave pool. The food is bland and the ice cream cones are tiny. When we were there, the pool bar was not open. Overall, the grounds are very attractive and well-kept and the place seemed very clean and well run. I think for younger kids, it's probably a 5-star attraction, and as an adult, I enjoyed just lazing around on the many beach loungers and catching a few rays. However if you have tweens or teens, they may be disappointed with the slides, especially if they've been to a lot of other water parks before. For example, we recall that Waterbom in Bali was much bigger and had longer/higher, more fun, more interesting slides (and better food). Tip: There is a free shuttle from town during high season. In low season, we had to pay 900 baht for a return taxi, which is very steep.

A world class park equal to any in Australia seemed to be fairly new Clean and tidy and reasonably priced But a little bit of a drive to get there as with most parks out in the middle of nowhere But a nice break from the heat.

Spent the day at the park and absolutely loved it.
The wave pool was good fun, very big waves that knock you all over the place so be careful!
Food relatively cheap and not bad, the usual you find at water parks, burgers hotdogs etc.
Lovely relaxing infinity pool overlooking the lake.
Slides not the best but overall a good day out and I would recommend it.
