Amazing big rooms, the owners are very friendly and great to interact with, they have a motorbike which they let you rent, very helpful, I wanted to stay longer but they were fully booked so they sorted me out with a flat on the next soi at the same price, rooms are great value for money, guesthouse is situated on a residential street behind soi 80, so its very quiet at night but only a 10 second walk to the bars and resteraunts, 10/10, best guesthouse in Hua Hin by far!!

Room Tip: all the rooms are to a high standard

Friendly staff and owner, but bath and toilet on the floor and a couple of bugs in the room. Low standard next to the low standard red light district.

Recommended just for a cheap overnight.

We took our keys with us by mistake. Sent them back via post on the same day. Owner was very understanding and it was no problem for him.

Thank you for your review. We appreciate all feedback. However this is Thailand and there are bars with girls working in them. There are no red light districts in Hau Hin, like Bangkok. There are no go go bars or strip dancing clubs. It is not allowed as the King of Thailand is in residence here.To call soi 80 a low standard red light district is i feel very unfair , as the road is not only bars, but a mixture of restaurants and shops. It is very hard to have a fair opinion of Hau Hin if you only stay for one night. We are situated in a residential road which runs parallel with soi 80, very quite. You have the option to walk up and down this road to get to the beach and town or up and down soi 80. I would recommend both, as soi 80 is a very friendly and varied street to walk up and down. Hau Hin is a safe place to visit with many tourist police. Everyone who has stayed has never had a problem with Hau Hin or soi 80. You just have to relax and enjoy Thailand for what it is, both culture and night life.

Altough it's close to several bars at soi 80 it is a quiet and peaceful place to stay. You get a kingsize bed, free drinking water and an excellent service for a very reasonable and affordable price. Best place to stay in Hua Hin.

A room with everything you need for an uncomplicated stay. Close to the train station, car park in front of the house and you can rent a scooter from Dave & Laila, read the latest paper and eat Laila's home-cooked food. All this in a quiet neighborhood with a Soi of fun and bars around the corner. Well, things in walking distance is relative...but there's a Bath Bus stopping not far away or you better rent a scooter, as taxis have crazy fares, but this is not the guesthouse's fault. However...blankets have Thai size ( we got a 2nd one ) and the mattrasses could be more solid ;-)

We stayed for one night. Room was clean and comfortable. Location good, close to night markets with great food. Dave & laila friendly and helped us with onward travel booking. Only minus is at the minibus stop when leaving Dave arrived to say we had left without paying, when in fact no one was up when we had to leave so we left money with keys and a thankyou note on reception. Always good to check first I think!

Thank you for your kind comments on our Guesthouse and we are glad you enjoyed your stay. I do apologize for the confusion over the payment and you are right i should have looked behind the counter. However after i had spoken to you and the confusion was sorted outed in a friendly and relaxed manner, i returned to the guesthouse and laila insisted on coming down to see you at the mini bus stop to make sure you would have no problems catching the right minibus and to say goodbye. We hope to see you again as we enjoyed your company and you are more than welcome to return if you ever pass through Hau Hin again. Safe journey back to the UK.

Laila's food and drink is owned by a Thai/Brit couple. They were extremely welcoming, fun to chat with and always happy to give advice on our trip (booking tuk tuks, local restaurants, general prices etc). They are a very relaxed couple, giving the place a really friendly ambience.

Laila cooks brilliant authentic thai food at very generous prices and is able to whip out off menu requests too!

The guesthouse is located on a quiet residential street, easy to get to from the train station, with a 7/11 around the corner, a parallel street full of bars, a 10 minutes walk from the beach and inbetween the two main night markets of Hua Hin (both around a 10 minute stroll). Location wise, we really could not have asked for more.

We would both highly recommend this place, total value for money, fantastic location and most importantly, great hospitality!

I generally do not like "poms"', but Dave is an amazing person. A great listener and happy go lucky chap. Similarly, his partner and hard working lady, Leila, is accommodating to the "nth" degree and if you are lucky enough to go dancing with them, you will battle to keep your eyes at eye-level! Lol.

These people bend over backwards to make your stay memorable!

Highly recommended and 5 star for me!

Room Tip: Sleep upstairs in the bigger rooms.
