During our stay in Hua Hin we went to the MK restaurant to have some Sukiyaki (Thai Hot Pot). The MK brand is all over Thailand and famous for sukiyaki and mostly caters to Thai people.
The place is located in a pretty empty mall on the first floor, not far away from the Night Market. There are some thai dishes on the menu, but of course it's all about sukiyaki here. And that's what we ordered. You can have endless options, loads of mushrooms, any kind of veggies, pork, beef, chicken, fish and of course also seafood. You can have different sets or you can order it all seperately. The prices here are very fair.
It's a place mostly for families or groups. The atmosphere is quite cold though...it's set up like a regular fast food place. And the aircon must have been set on "hell-freezes-over". The food was fine though. Just the beef and pork quality did not live up to me standard (chewy and no flavour).
It's an fine place to eat. The food is actually good, but it just lacks any kind of atmosphere and character.
