“A secret paradise”
Reviewed 16 November 2013

A lot of people don't know about this beach, or think of not visiting as it's not in the middle of Hua Hin. Quiet stretch of beach that is not only clean, but is far from over run by fellow ferang! Try and visit this beach, just once. Great for a walk or a quiet bathe.

“A secluded beach south of Hua Hin”
Reviewed 9 October 2013

A beautiful, quiet stretch of beach, ideal for a long walk! We accessed by walking from the northern end.

“A local secret which you should try and visit.”
Reviewed 3 October 2013

This beach is a recreation area for the Thai military which is open to the public. There are even aircon bungalows and a hotel where you can stay---although for a foreigner-- apart from the beach, there would be little to keep yopu amused unless you are after a very quiet time.. There is a restaurant by the beach where basic Thai dishes are prepared, and on weekends and on busier times there are many food stalls to choose from. You can have a shower after swimming in the amenties block. There is a massage shop where you can get very good and cheap massages. There are young soldiers everywhere tending the gardens and enjoying themselves on the beach. The beach is enormous, and is mostly visited by Thai people. If you would like to experience a real Thai day out, it is definitely worth a visit. We usually drive there by rental car---about 10 minutes south of Hua Hin.

“Beats Hua Hin beach hands down”
Reviewed 23 August 2013 via mobile

After reading other reviews got a taxi there and back which dropped us at the car park right on the beach. 2 yr old very happy as he could dig in the sand and chase tiny crabs. We found some hermit crabs which were fun. Husband happy as 2 large Chang and a Sprite came to 95B. I was happy as there were no hawkers no horse poo no broken glass and no ugly buildings and no awful jet skis spoiling the peace - just beautiful views and hardly any other people at all. We didn't mind paying 90B for 2 deck chairs and an umbrella either. Nice way to spend a morning or afternoon. Only downside is that there are jellyfish everywhere at the moment so no swimming:(

“Just the way it is”
Reviewed 11 July 2013

I love just the way it is i.e. no noisy and water sports with motors are allowed. If this is what you prefer; no food sale on the beach and never get bothered by any sort of commercial activities, here's definitely the place you you. It's only possible because the place is under Navy 's territory and thus under its supervision. However, to get ther, you need an extra effort as the place is situated off Hua Hin 's beach. It's about 15 minutes drive from the centre towards Khao Tao. The place is also considered excellent for those who love photography especially in the late afternoon when many locals both adults and children go about enjoying themselves. No better time to capture the moments of life while relaxing at the same time, and I couldn't help but smile.
