We stayed five nights in a comfortable room on the eighth floor (no wi-fi on this floor). The staff were friendly and obliging as our group required breakfast at 6.30am when the dining room didn't officially open till 7.00am, so credos to those staff who made it possible. Parking can be a big problem as the parking are outside is used by anybody with no spaces reserved for hotel guests.
Swimming pool on third floor had opaque water and did not look inviting, but the jacuzzi a few steps away was good. Food was nothing more than average, but that was shown in the low prices, so it was good value.

Room Tip: As mentioned, free wifi is available everywhere except the 8th floor

The reception staff of this hotel need a few lessons in manners and customer service. They are unfriendly and rude and really do not have any understanding of customer care. During my stay I asked to see the manger twice and was told that it would not be possible on both occasions. Absolutely dreadful service and I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Wi-Fi was also very poor. Stay only at your peril. Shame really as the hotel is in a good location.

The place is nothing from the front but the rooms are fine for the price. The rooms are claen and pretty big. The reception staff weren't the friendliest but did help us connect with the wifi which is not so stable. It is in fairly good location in central Hua hin and near night market. The breakfast is nothing special.

Although the place could do with a facelift, we found the rooms clean and spacious with balcony. Wifi worked okay, a choice of two pools with pool bar, a central safe, breakfast a la carte due to low season all went to make this an enjoyable stay. The hotel is located very near the famous Night Market with quick access to the impeccable beach. All in all a pleasant stay with committed staff in a lovely town. Pat and Tik

This hotel definitely has room to improve. The staff are not very friendly most of the time. The room was not too bad being large with comfy beds. The wifi signal was on and off so not reliable The location is pretty good being in central hua hin. The breakfast was nothing special and the swimming pol was nor clean. Best to look at other options before booking here

We arrived at Tanawit and asked for a double room, they said they had none in the main hotel but we could have one in the hotel on the corner. So we went to have a look and it looked like a very nice room. We had hoped that since it wasn't in the main hotel and meant walking to the main hotel for breakfast and to use the pool that the room might be cheaper, but it wasnt. So we checked in and within 15 mins realized that the aircon wasnt working at all. So I ran back to reception to report this and then waited 2 hours before they sent someone over to look at the aircon. The handy man didnt appear to have a clue what he was looking for and an hour later it was no better. In the meantime a huge amount of banging and drilling had started, it felt like people were working in our room. So we went to investigate and found that they were redoing the room next to ours and in fact on most floors they were redoing rooms and the noise levels got worse and worse until we could just as well have been on a building site. So we went back to reception and suddenly they found us a room in the main hotel. Room looked great but once again the aircon didnt work at all. So finally we gave up on Tanawit and got our money back and set off to find somewhere decent to stay.

We booked this hotel for 6 nights @ $135 per night. There were no rooms available in town. After reading reviews we did not know what to expect. The hotel is rated 2 1/2 star which is accurate. The room was ok, on the second day my husband and I both got colds. After speaking to other guests who have colds we suspected the air conditioner. My husband notice the screens were dirty and air ducting need cleaning. The breakfast was actually pretty good for a 21/2 star hotel.

Room Tip: The rooms are in separate building so can be a bit confusing for visitors
