“Excellent value hotel”
Reviewed 30 April 2014

Stayed at Thipurai again this april and the staff were as helpful and friendly as ever.
The rooms are basic, but for the price you can't go wrong. I always upgrade as I like a bigger room, but even then its a bargain price.
In the best location in Hua Hin, is close to very thing but in a quiet Soi.

We stayed for 4 nights in this lovely hotel. The staff couldn't do enough for us and the location was perfect for both the beach (which was virtually empty) and the night market and shopping which had everything you could ask for. The room was cleaned thoroughly every day and the cleaners had lovely surprises for us daily with their imaginative towel art :) Couldn't be happier with our stay which offered excellent value for money, fabulous food (both in local restaurants and the street vendors) Wouldn't hesitate to come back! Thank you for our little bit of luxury after trekking and songkran, it was just what we needed!

This hotel just around 10 mins walking distance to various tourist points. Around the hotel, you can get foods, drinks and nightlife. However, the price is considered higher. We're having standard room for 2 persons. The water pumping slow and small. My friend's room even didn't have hot water. But we didn't make a complaint to front desk. I'm not sure about the price for other hotels in Hua Hin, but it is costly compared to the stay in Bangkok City. Overall, the staffs are helpful and the room is clean.

Compared to the price the hotel can easily be treated as a very good choise for us. We did not look a fancy service neither the luxory rooms, but clean place to sleep, which is located to the central place of Hua Hin. This hotel was exactly that. Service was ok, housekeeping well done daily, no nasty surprices. On the next streets we found excellent restaurants as well as loundry/taxi/massage/small supermarkets etc - so all we were looking for. Distance to the night markets and shopping malls as well as to the beach were ideal for walking. Tuktuk was also available just around the next corner. Pool was tiny, but we did not plan to use it really. In one of the rooms (we had 4 rooms for 8 persons) the air conditioning was noisy, but other wise well functioning.

It's a great 3 star hotel.Staff were excellent meals were very good and the WiFi worked well.Upgraded the room for very little cost and worth it.Great steaks down stairs and the tailor by the name of Arnold makes great shirts at very good prices. The room staff were excellent making our towels into small animals to greet us on return each night. There were 6 of us on a golfing holiday and all were pleased with this hotel. You can walk to many resturants and bars.

Room Tip: Upgrade worth the money.Bigger rooms and quieter.

Stayed three friends for two nights in deluxe room with a extra bed,

Hotel
You get what you pay for, very basic standard.
Hotel pool had no shower or bathroom, unhygienic I'd say.
The beach is quite a trek from the hotel, as nearest seaside is only a pier with rocks.
Good location to all bars and restaurants in central Hua Hin though.

Rooms
ok beds and bathroom, clean. Extra bed was a cot bed, not very comfortable and not worth 500b night.
Balcony facing another building

Electricity wasn't working properly in our room, twice leaving us without ac or lights, the rest of the hotel was fine, took them two hours to fix it. Not even apologizing about it or offering us another room.

Service, ok , helpful staff, except about the electricity.

Restaurant
Tried the breakfast buffet, ok value for 250b, buffet table crawling with ants all over eggs and pancakes

Room Tip: Don't book an extra bed here Unless you weigh under 30kgs or are a small child, it's a incre...

lovely small hotel. close to the beach and the nightlife. beach towels available at reception which i was really delighted with. good size rooms, ours was overlooking the street but even though it was so close there was no noise. balcony's are very small only one chair could fit on ours and it would have been nice if we could have both sat out in the heat of the evening. but it wasn't a huge inconvenience. we were unfortunate that it rained during our stay but they even had umbrellas available.

Room Tip: for a larger balcony you may have to go for a pool view but the 5th floor will leave you so close to...
