We travelled to Hua Hin for Songkran looking for something quieter than other parts of Thailand during the water festival.

The taxi driver did find it a bit difficult to find but the local tourist office were helpful and we got there in the end - just ask for the Grand Hotel and its just round the corner.

Ton and Tukta were very helpful and friendly and cooked a different breakfast every day for us.

Location was excellent and within walking distance to all the major attractions and malls and only 5/10 walk to the beach.

The rooms were lovely and clean and very comfortable the Queen Bee room is especially nice - we would certainly stay there again and recommend to anyone thinking of trying it out.

Deron and Bee the owners were very friendly and recommended local resturants to try as well as things to do.

We would definatley return to Hau Hin and would stay here again as it was great value for money. My husband cannot wait to catch up with Deron again and have a few beers/rums.

All the best Karen, Brian and Lyn

Just returned from a relaxing week spent at the Bee & B. From our collection at Bangkok aiport to the comfortable Queen Bee room, tasty breakfast in bed, the "welcome back from the beach" cold beers and the unobtrusive service everything was as we had hoped. The guesthouse is just a 10 minute walk from the beach where you can get sunbeds for the day for the price of a couple of drinks from the beach bar. The "Market Village" shopping mall is just 5 minutes walk with all the shopping conveniences you could need and the famous Hua Hin night market is perhaps 15 minutes walk further into town with a good range of restaurants bars, and the usual Thai market items aimed at tourists - in all a good quiet but pretty central location. Recommended.

We made last minute plans of going to Hua Hin on Songkran (One of the biggest festivals of Thailand). Looking at the reviews about this place, we were amazed that they still have rooms available in the peak season of Songkran (but again we were lucky in that scene).

Finding the place was a little bit trouble and we missed it the first time because we thought that the entrance is private for the Grand Hotel only. Actually Bee & B shares the same soi (lane) of the Grand hotel. But one needs to go past the Grand hotel to reach Bee and B.

They don’t have a dedicated car park. We were asked to park our car in front of a house that was supposingly vacant. So anyone staying in Bee & B will not find a security guard who is looking after you car throughout the night but I think in a country like Thailand that is not a big issue.

Staff was very helpful and also booked seats for us in one of the best sea food restaurants in Hua Hin. They had lots of info on Hua hin and vicinity and were also very supportive in guiding and planning your trip.

Breakfast was done pretty good but they seem to offer similar quantities of food they cook every day. For instance for the first day they cooked for us very delicious pork puffs and served two of them to each of us. This is was perfect. But the second day they served us some very delectable but very heavy Pancakes (2 each) and it was very difficult to finish them. So maybe they should make like a balanced meal every day. Otherwise people will end up either wasting food or getting over stuffed.

Location was just excellent with walking distance to all the major attractions and malls. It is not sea facing but it takes not more than 5mins by car or 10 mins by walk.

Bathroom was again very well appointed and they had some very fresh ideas about the design and layout of the same.

Overall the whole stay was very nice and memorable one.

I stayed here on a weekend kitesurfing trip The service from the start was top class starting with collection from my workplace in Bangkok. I was greeted with a very friendly welcome with all the local information I needed and a free welcome beer.

The room was very comfortable especially the bed. The in-room a/c is very quiet which adds to the likelyhood of a good nights sleep. The guest house is fitted out with luxury fixtures throughout. The bathrooms are a little unusual and will appeal to many but probably not all (I liked it as it is a very unique style, check the pictures yourself on tripadvisor).

The location is about a 15 minute to the centre of the town and a similar distance from the beach.
Ton served up an excellent breakfast each morning and Deron and I even went out on the town together with one of the other guests!
I'll definitely return here again on my next trip to Hua Hin and highly recommend it.

Stayed for 2 nights at the Bee and B and it did not disappoint.
The location is just off the main road (2 min walk) and handy for all of Hua Hin.
The B&B itself is small but perfectly formed with all the touches that make it special. We had the Queen Bee room which was large and had an impressive bathroom with shells/rocks and a feature wooden bathtub which unfortunately we didn't try. The room was perfectly clean (and we're fussy!)
Bed was comfortable, room was light and spacious and the B&B very quiet and friendly.
Dvds to borrow for the room was an added bonus.
There is also a jacuzzi in the main outdoor lobby/bar area but again we didn't get around to it in our short stay.
I would definately recommend the Bee and B and thank tham for our wonderful stay.
Thank you x
