From the outside this place looks respectable, later found out that earlier in the year bamboo scaffolding had been erected and the whole exterior given a coat of white paint. Arrived late afternoon after a tiring journey, noticed the hotel offered free wifi and price was reasonable so paid up,thank goodness for only one night. It is a big hotel and we were on the 3rd floor no lift, inside was shabby and full of junk everywhere. Room looked ok on first viewing just very dated and needing a lick of paint. T ried to access free wifi without success and discussed this with receptionist who then informed us it wasn't avaliable. we said why was sign offering it still in place to which she just shrugged her shoulders and walked away. Went out for a meal on return to our room noticed that the bedlinen on top of the bed was white but the bottom sheets were a yellow colour and the state of the pillows you wouldn't believe. On further examination i happened to notice that ants were crawling all around the walls underneath the dado rail someone had attempted to block up a couple of holes with chewing gum to no avail, we decided to pull our beds away from the wall on which the leg foot on my bed came off so i then had a wonky bed. The sound of the airconditioning unit was terrible in the end we turned it off, couldn't wait to leave in the morning.Oh and i forgot to say the door was so stiff to close from the inside you had to put your weight against it.
