“A terrible dusty dirty hotel.”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 13 February 2014

This was one of the worst hotels i stayed in. On arrival the lady behind the desk said nothing, no "hello". no "can I help you", nothing.!! The room is old and not clean, the mirror and walls in the bathroom have not been wiped for some time. They are doing roadworks for about two kilometres so as it is a windy place there is dust blowing everywhere. It is a long ride into the main area (Ao Nang) and costs anything from 300-500 Baht each way and you will be dusty before you get there.
If you have a reason to stay in this area try to get a deal at one of the upmarket hotels which is what I did. I was supposed to stay three days but after one night was enough for me. When I left the same lady (in her pyjamas) said nothing, just took the key and turned away. We were very happy to drive away from this hotel. Never again.!

I booked here on recomandation of STA travel, big mistake for me. It is a long long way out of town, costs approx £12 each way to town and back in a taxi, the little tuktuks won't take you so far and no bus. The room was ok, big, hot water shower etc, 2 free bottles water per day but the breakfast consited of fried eggs, sausages, either noodles or rice then some sort of toastie, that's it, Not my idea of breakfast. Up the road the little local cafes are really cheap, 80p per meal is normal but they are local cafes, nothing fancy but cook the food fresh for you, I used the Halal one over the road and about 100 yards up. There is a roof terrace and it looks ok but no-one is up there. No sea views and my room looked out on local houses ??? and a bit of forest, description on website is too misleading. I had to ask staff to clean my room but when I did communicate they tried to help. Very laid back the staff and not a bit like I am used to, I wouldn't come here again but would come to Krabi maybe stay nearer to the town. Free internet use in reception, didn't work in my room though. Beach very quiet. Lots of potential but staff needtraining properly. A/C in room plus small fridge too and Tv. Booked here for 3 weeks but will look for somthing nearer to town I think and stay there for a few days.

Room Tip: mine was 200H right above the kitchen, ok but nothing special.

We stayed here for 2 nights before heading to Ao nang. I would recommend staying in this town the beach is quiet and amazing and the little village becomes alive at night it's nice to get away from the reps and tourist traps.

The hotel states there is a cocktail bar on the roof however when we went up to have a look its closed down because of the change of manager. They need to update this on website.

The rooms we booked were average and clean. We had a/c, tv, fridge and a balcony which was nice on a night even though we were on a main road. The beach and restaurants are a 5 minute walk away. I would avoid the breakfast warm bread, egg and weird sausages god knows whats in them. The rooms are pretty reasonably prices I would definitely stop here again.

If you do stay here eat at an Italians/Indians just up from it the pizzas are unreal.

Stayed here with my girlfriend and a friend of ours for a few days in January 2011. The hotel itself is great, we stayed in a huge, modern room which was well worth the money. The staff were very friendly to us the whole time but really did speak very little English. Not a huge problem though really.

The hotel's location however is a real pain with taxi drivers all seeming to charge set rates at very high prices. The nearest beach is just 5 minutes away which looks great and is OK but soon as you sit down on the sand you get assaulted by irritating flies. The posh resort at the end of that beach has deckchairs but charges a fortune for them as I think it wants to keep the exclusivity for its own guests. In the area near to the hotel there are a few places to eat and drink which are pretty good. If you want a bit of peace and quiet then this may be a fine place for you but we were definitely getting bored after the first day there. If there was a cheaper way to get about the extended area then this place would be great, maybe renting motorbikes would be a good idea if you are intending to stay here.

Overall though I would still recommend this hotel, just be aware about what you are letting yourself in for with the location.

Found this hotel through sawadee but I also notice it did not have any reviews. But we tried this hotel anyway.
Pros : Great place for those who want quietness and little isolation (peace of mind)
Free internet access
Near by “unpopular” beach
A plus if you’re Muslim
Clean Rooms & Bathrooms
Unoccupied Roof Top Bar, but you can hang out if you like

Cons : Only free schettle to Ao nang Beach ( 1 time only) the next you need to go and
pay on your own
They said bicycle is free but when we asked they said its rent use.
Breakfast of Western, Thai and Chinese cuisine is very disappointing. (Small portion and limited choices)
We had to ask for DVD player
Staff speaks very little English
Quite far from airport and Ao nang Beach
Didn't promote any spa and massage

This hotel have good potential, its still new and the young staff need more experience to run the hotel place.

They have very nice staff, the room is clean, food was good enough and cheap, the room price is very reasonable, they provide free internet access however they still need to improve a lots. They promise in the website saying that shuttle to Ao Nang is free however they only give it free for one time. My recommendation, if you dont like to be crowded in Ao Nang beach and dont mind the transportation then this will be good place to stay, or else better to stay in resort near to Ao Nang beach

Not only is the price right the food was great and it's incredibly close to the beaches, both the quit one and the busy one. Gives easy access to all sorts of amenities as well.

The food on the roof top bar was great, particularly the Banana Chocolate prata. Check it out.

Of course this place is not a high-end resort like what is next door to it, but worth every penny (which incidentally isn't many).
