We came to the Spa following the advice of both our town guide and the Lonely Planet book.
My boyfriend and I both had full body treatments. I can't fault the quality of the treatment - the women who performed the facials and the full body masks seemed experienced and the treatment was lovely.
However, we paid 900 BHT each for the experience and it definitely wasn't worth this. The information at the entrance advertises sunbeds by a mineral pool. Instead, we sat on a rickety bench waiting for the mud to dry. The assisted shower is lovely, but the baths afterwards were very dirty.
Don't be fooled by the name 'country club'. This is a collection of concrete buildings and shacks.
It was certainly an experience, and we enjoyed it for what it was, but we wouldn't repeat a visit or recommend it.
