Hotel located very close to Patong beach around 50 meter and close to Bangla street where you can find night club over there. We had stayed at Loft wing building which there are a litter roof top swimming pool. Hotel room spacious and clean with good amenity in the bathroom. Reasonable price. We never eaten breakfast at the hotel because got up very late but I can see that there are variety choice of breakfast. Staffs generally not friendly.

Room Tip: Loft wings building should be better because new.

My girlfriend and I decided to stay a few nights at a different hotel in Patong. We originally stayed at Ibis Hotel Patong which was excellent. Rayaburi Hotel was a nightmare!

Our room stunk of sewerage for the entire stay, it was infecting. When we asked for a change of room or a discount, staff refused both and gave us a can of air freshener which didn't work, the smell was too strong. The room was also quite dated and smelt of mould as well.

That wasn't the worst of it though. We were staying at a really nice resort in Krabi and needed transport from Patong to Krabi. The tourism operator in the lobby booked this for us from Phuket to Krabi same day 1500THB. Turns out the ferry taking us to Krabi stopped at Phi Phi Island and would travel to Krabi the following morning!! We we're left stranded on Phi Phi with the option of staying a night in Phi Phi (about 6500THB) and sacrificing our payed accommodation in Krabi, or taking a long boat to Krabi at a cost of 5500THB or $183 AUD.

After a furious call to Rayaburi, they admitted to the mistake on our ticket but were not apologetic and would not offer a refund. That could of been enough money to stay another night in Krabi with food and tours, which we had to cut short.

Avoid this hotel at all cost, it's not worth the risk.

Room Tip: If you get put in the 'loft wing', good luck!

We found this hotel walking down the streets and thought we would give it a go. Turns out we had a much more enjoyable stay here at half the price than at Graceland resort. Rooms are big and clean with a modern feel to it. Staff were great too, very friendly and helpful when we needed somewhere urgent to stay on our last night but also charging us a discounted price as it had just hit peak season. Overall will stay here again and again.

Phuket and Patong are not what most people assume. It's mayhem and chaos, so a good base is needed. It's close to the beach, 2 minute walk. It's close to the main strip as well. Think Vegas, by the sea and third world, and that's Patong.

Hotel was very accommodating. Arranged al transfers seamlessly. Airport is far away but the hotel transfer was great value. Hotel prices were a bargain when it came to mini bar and food.

Only one drawback and that's the small pub over the road. Quite noisy at night BUT that is the same for the whole of Patong as there are bars and pubs everywhere!

Leaving Thailand tomorrow and this was my favourite hotel out of all in the whole trip...

Our second stay at the Rayaburi Patong was just as good as our first, good room and great service. Had a buffet breakfast every day that was full of fresh food that didnt make anyone sick, bottled water was supplied to our room daily which was also useful. We had a look at other hotels while we were over there but didnt find one as clean, close to the beach or cheap as the Rayaburi.

Room Tip: Rooms in "the loft wing" are quieter. Also rooms in "the loft wing" have a toi...

Where to start? Deluxe seaview room has a view of wall and airconditioners, smells of mould, dirty stains on the curtains, air conditioner in room fell apart and was extremely noisy. When we asked about these issues, staff were extremely rude and admitted that they knew of the problems already. Refused to move our room upon request and lied about the hotel being full (checked online and rooms still available for the night). Not worth the stay at any price!

Upon check-in, my friend and I was served cocktail after a 1hour ride from the airport. Was unable to check-in early, so went to Jungceylon to do some essential shopping.

After our rooms was ready, we were ushered to our rooms, a double bed with a single bed in a triple sharing room. The room and toilet was clean, neat and tidy. Only thing that stood out was there was some cracks in one part of the room walls. Room service was quick when we requested for water boiler. One thing to note is that the toilet has a door and a window, problem is the window cannot be locked and can be open from both inside and outside, which doesn't make any sense. Also the interior of the toilet can be seen from the outside at a correct angle, hence not suitable for co-ed friends. More for an all male/female groups of friends.

Wifi is only atmost one puny bar in room than in the lobby, saw others using their laptop in the lobby instead of in the room as well.

Breakfast was of great value, they change some of their menu everyday. More than enough choices and food to start the day.

Overall, it was a good stay for me and my friends. A good choice for family and friends in big group. Only paid SGD92 per pax for 3 nights for the triple room. Great value!
