We decided to have lunch here after having read good reviews about it. We ordered papaya salad with seafood, clear seafood soup, and deep fried fish in tamarind preparation. They were all spicy and tasty. Though nothing extraordinary or different from other Thai eateries we had been too. We like the fish as it was very meaty, juicy and nicely cooked. They complimented us with stir fried vegetables and also fresh fruits. So that was a nice touch. Price is a bit on the high side even but I think it is a good choice for this area.

Found restaurant on tripadvisor and could see as soon as we arrived that it was very popular. Had starter for 2 to begin with which was very nice. For main had red curry chicken and a beef salad. Beware if you are from Europe even what are considered as mild dishes will burn your taste buds with the spices used.

We went to the Sea Hag because of the rave reviews.

The service was good but this is Thailand - you'd expect that.

We ordered two whole fish. The sauces were nice and the fish was well cooked but they were rather muddy tasting farmed barramundi and didn't taste that fresh.

The wine list was at Australian prices ($40 - $50 a bottle). We ordered a spumante and were informed that what we ordered was unavailable. The replacement we received was warm and certainly not of restaurant quality.

Sea Hag is in the tourist area of Patong Beach and it shows. I won't go back there - it just didn't stand out from the crowd.
