A few points to summarize why this is a very nice and affordable place to stay in Patong:
The Italian management is very professional and always ready to assist you during your stay. There is a special care for all guests and you can feel like at home!
The location is just great and fares are a bargain all year long!
They have now a new outdoor pool on the roof from where you can relax after your day at the beach and enjoy warm hospitality with BBQs, great lounge music and cocktails!
And if you have the chanche to be there for New Year's Eve then...you will be in one of the best locations for Patong fireworks! The very first-class seats!
Stay in the middle of Patong beach&life, minutes from everywhere and enjoy your holidays in amazing Thailand!

The rooms here were decent, clean and well-priced. They also gave us an early check-in, which was really nice after an overnight bus. Staff are friendly and helpful.

However, I got a pamphlet to a tour in Phuket from the lobby. We tried to ring, but they didn't speak English, so we asked at reception if they could ring and they directed us to the taxi across the road. We asked another lady and the same thing happened, so talked to the taxi and they ended up not wanting to take us to some of the places and when we went to the places we wanted it wasn't the same as we didn't know what was going on as we didn't have a guide. I think they could improve by helping guests with tours a bit more.

We stayed at Aisaloop for 8 nights! Good value for money. Simple hotel but has everything you need. Rooms were large, modern and clean. Cleaned daily. Large bed, tv, aircon, and bar fridge. 7 eleven across the road. Had a leak on basin pipe but after reporting it it was fixed right away! Very friendly and helpful staff went the extra mile! We stayed in the superior room which I would recommend, as it has a balcony, wouldn't recommend the economy room though as there is no balcony or windows. Amazing roof top pool with pool side bar and daily dinners, however this is over priced. Not too far from patong beach, about 10-15 min, however quite far from Bangla road, but can still walk. Overall lovely hotel and would recommend.

We moved to Asialoop from a hotel in Karon half way through our stay in Phuket. Originally we had avoided Patong, thinking that we would hate it, being a couple that choose relaxation over mad partying. After 4 nights in the awful Little Mermaid in Karon beach we'd visited Patong during the day and decided to move there. Asialoop was luxury after 4 nights in the noisy, smelly Little Mermaid.

We chose the cheapest room available, which was still great. Really large room size with dressing table, double bed, fridge, TV, wardrobes and a modern bathroom. Fresh towels and room cleaned every day, although I think the hotel was undergoing some refurbishment at the time, so some days we had to find the maids and ask for a fresh towel if we wanted them before the afternoon. The hotel has a rooftop pool, bar and sunbathing area with plenty of sun beds, which is ideal as the hotel is a little walk from Patong beach.

We rented mopeds from the hotel for 250baht per day, there are some cheaper rentals available elsewhere but we took comfort in the fact that the hotel didn't need our passports as we were staying there. The hotel staff were very helpful, always smiling. We booked a transfer to the airport at a travel agents in Patong town, but discovered later on that they had recorded our accommodation as "absolute guesthouse". We just went downstairs and asked to receptionist if we could use the phone, she happily called them for us and explained where the guesthouse was.

There's a 7 eleven less than 5 steps from the guesthouse and a taxi rank outside in case you would rather get a lift into Patong. Patong itself is a little intense. The beach is similar to that of Benidorm and really doesn't represent how beautiful Thailand can be. Plenty of restaurants in the town, though a little expensive. We ate at the market along the beach most nights as prices were much more reasonable. I'd steer clear of Bangla road if you're not up for a ping pong show or prostitute.

We didn't love Phuket but Asialoop made our stay pleasant. In our opinion the islands of Thailand have much more to offer, but if you are staying in Patong Asialoop is reasonably priced and relaxing.

Room Tip: The hotel has no lift, so request to be on a lower floor if you don't fancy a few flights of sta...

Was there for a sleep-over. Last minute decision to come to Thailand and a night flight caused me to mistakenly choose patong as a sleep-over before I leave for Khao Lak the day after. Realized this from airport taxi driver who was taking me to Asialoop who said patong is further from khao lak compared to airport.

Anyway, booking had been made, I checked in to friendly staff and owner. The night shift guy who took over was nice as well.

I did step out in search for dinner and it was all nearby. You could pick which cuisine you wanted. 7 eleven was also a stone throw away.

Room was large, has 2 beds (a king & a single), clean, has hot shower and air con working well. Take note the walls are not that thick and I could hear (medium faint) a girl moaning next door for an hour. Lol.

The next day before check out, I went to the rooftop to happily find a nice pool. It must've been newly constructed bcos there were some materials left on either side of the pool access. Hopefully it's to build a bar. That'd be cool! And oh, I found the elevator too. Lol. Read previous review about no elevator. Guys, ask questions and they'll gladly answer you :)

It's overall value for money!

Magic Asialoop :) top quality : wifi free, friendly managment and very clean ! Located on the main road to Kata is one of my favorite place where to stay when i visit Phuket !
From Asialoop to kata beach ( club med golf court hole N 1) is the perfect running track : 10 km 1.10 min first 5 km very suggestive and hard as there is "the big hill" ascent and descent and than the main road flat with sea view the last 5km.

I have only 3 basic requirements for rooms when I am on a budget. Cleanliness, proximity to facilities and working air conditioner. Asia Loop fulfill 2 1/2 out of 3.It was really clean and spacious, 7Eleven was next door & the beach 10mins walk away but the air conditioner was working but it was so weak I hardly feel cool in the room but it was still liveable.

Having said that, although I stayed for a good price there are few amenities that could have been better. AsiaLoop has no elevator. I was aware of this when I booked the hotel but I figured considering that I only need the room to sleep I can live with going up and down the stairs twice a day. 1 to go out in the day and 1 to come back to sleep. I was wrong. When we checked in, the TV remote wasnt working, we had no kettle to boil water, we only had 1 towel and we needed a universal adaptor for the power socket. Now, this could have easily been sorted out just by calling front desk right? Wrong. The room has no phone so I had to go 3 floors down, explain my situation to the front desk lady, she told me to go back up and wait for someone to send all the items I requested except the universal adaptor cos she doesnt have any. Then, when I manage to purchase a universal adaptor, the wall socket was positioned in a horizontal manner such that when I attached my phone charger to the adaptor, because it only attached to 2 pin it was heavy it tilted to angle and dropped which was very frustrating. (I hope you can imagine what I am describing here) I had to use the bedside lamp to prop the adapter so that it remain stuck to the wall. On the whole, I had to go up and down about 3 times before the room was sorted and we can finally settle in the room.

I would have no doubt that AsiaLoop would have been a great hotel if the little details was not missed out but in my case it was the little details that made the first impression a little more....disappointing. I probably will not come back to stay only because the first day was so inconvenient.
