“great value for money and air conditioned to boot!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 11 April 2014

I read a review somewhere of the restaurant belonging to this hotel that stuck in my mind when it came time to visit Patong again. Basically I am going to repeat what they said. Its a nice quiet, cool place to get a decently cooked Thai (or Western if you prefer, but I didn't try that) meal for a very decent price.

For example, my favourite Asian dish is something called Char Kway Teo, or variants thereof. Its basically a flat, wide noodle dish with egg and chicken or pork (or sometimes seafood) in a sweetish soy type sauce. This hotel does a good version of it but it goes by a generic name here like "Thai noodle with chicken/pork" or something equally prosaic. For 70 baht its really excellent value. So good that I went back a few times and just had that. The other day where I varied I tried their satay chicken entrée which was excellently cooked and cheap! Also had the Penang Chicken (yes I like chicken) Curry which was yummy and fab value at around 70 or 80 baht.

No it not 5 star dining, but for what it is, its really good, honest food. In a town of so many scams, and where so many things prove less than you bargained for, I can strongly recommend it.

“Cheap, Variety and Tasty”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 25 March 2014

Went here twice, for breakfast and dinner.
The food was very cheap and had a good variety of pasta, curries, noodles, rice, seafood, etc
Service was efficient.

“Unfriendly but they have good shakes”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 23 March 2014 via mobile

I came here often to grab an iced coffee shake a bunch of times but 75% of the time I did, the staff were quite unfriendly. There's a woman who seems to be in charge who yelled at me to get to the bar if I'm only ordering a drink even though there were plenty of empty seats available in the restaurant, which made me decide to not come back again. I understand if that's their policy but there's a way to say it and yelling at a customer and embarrassing him in front of 10-15 other customers isn't the way to do it. People were actually shocked by her behaviour and an old man even patted me on the back as I left. It's a shame because their shakes are really good.

“Good Breakfast”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 15 March 2014

Had a few brekky's over the last 2 years here. Always been very good and only 150baht for a standard breakfast with toast, juice, coffee, eggs, sausages or bacon. Would recommend.
