For what they charge they are worth every penny. Absolutely close to Patong beach and Bangla street. Rooms are nice and clean, every thing one needs is there. I stayed in one of there King Superior rooms. Only thing that can be improved is may be there dining options. Only breakfast is served. Although many restaurants are there right across the street. A special mention for staff members, very humble, very helpful and very honest.

One of the guy 'Toon' provided us all the help needed, booking cabs, where to get nice coffee. We even extended our stay and he booked it for us without any issues at all. Although this was my third visit to Phuket, this one was much more enjoyable.

Room Tip: King Superiors are cheap and Nice if you can get one.

I loved this little boutique hotel! It was mainly the lovely staff members that made this worth the little money I paid for this hotel.

The bathrooms were Asian style, but very clean and the showers has great water pressure.

The beds were two twins pushed together, but I don't take up much space so that didn't bother me. I heard that if you come in instead of booking online, it is cheaper. It's already as cheap as hotel as hotels go but just a tip!

Bangla road is a 10-15 min walk. The hotel is great if you're just in it to explore and not get completely wasted every night.

But what makes this a 5 star review is the service and help from each of the staff members. I wouldn't stay in a different hotel in Patong Beach.

Stayed here with a friend from 4th-18th last month. We found it great value: our room was cleaned regularly (though we were not disturbed when we asked not to be!), we had a balcony to sit outside morning and evening, comfortable beds, effective air-con and a super shower with instant hot water. The daily complementary bottled waters were much appreciated; as was the useful & accurate advice given by the friendly and well-informed reception staff. The location is great; far enough away from the madness of Bangla Road to be peaceful, but close enough to the beach to be only a 10-15 minute walk away. There are frequent and (fairly) cheap taxis at the end of the road & an all night mini-mart for any shopping you might need locally. Free wi-fi and the signal always strong! We'd certainly stay there again...thanks Michael & staff for helping to ensure we had a great Thai holiday!

Let me start by saying we had a decent stay but could have been made better with some improvements to how the hotel is managed.

So here is the good. The hotel has a great location. You are a 5 minute walk from a lot of key things: the mall, Bangla Rd, the beach. But it is nice to be far enough away from the crazy, non-stop action of Patong where you can get some rest when you need it.

The hotel is clean and well kept. The WiFi is pretty functional. And the hotel has a decent price for what you get.

Here is where it could get better. We were put in a room in a section of the hotel that has four rooms in a corner. All three of the other rooms were occupied by an incredibly loud group of young men who were friends. They left their doors open and yelled back and forth and were incredibly loud late into the night. Here is the thing, there is no way that management could not have known how loud these people were. So they chose to ignore it which is the wrong call. They should have either not housed anyone else next to that group or engaged that group of people to let them know such loud behavior is not acceptable. or preferably both.

Listen, I am not a picky person and I have a wide tolerance. I also get that people go to Patong to party. But since Bangla road has every kind of party scene you want, hotels should be about allowing people to sleep not for partying since people can go elsewhere for that. So management needs to choose. Do they want their hotel to have a reputation that it all about partying? Or do they want to appeal to a wider array of potential clients? If they create a modicum of expectation that constant yelling is not acceptable, they probably wouldn't being driving the party crowd away but rather letting them know they should keep it on Bangla Rd. It seems like management is actively trying to figure these things out right now, but until their choice is made more clear to us, we wouldn't go back even though the hotel has a lot going for it.

A couple of other notes to management. It seems like you are about nickel and diming people. The laundry service is so ridiculously overpriced it is like 5 times as much as anywhere else. Here is a tip for people who stay there. Walk your laundry right across the main road to the Aussie Bar (I think it is called Sunset Bar) and get excellent service while saving tons of money.

Also, we needed to make a 2 minute call and we were charged for that at the front desk. At every other place we have stayed at, a short 2 minute call has been a simple courtesy for guests. I get that you don't want to put yourself in a situation where guests are constantly using your phone, but you can create a balance. Tell guests they get 2 short calls free and then you will start charging them a modest amount. But having staff not only immediately demand money but right there on the spot and not even be willing to add it to the bill seems pretty weak.

This hotel has real potential given the location, the decent quality of the rooms and WiFi, but operational culture and management decisions take it down a notch. These are things that could be easily fixed it they want to.

We enjoyed our stay in this hotel and for the price we paid brilliant!!! There isnt any bells and wistles but what you do get is a room decent size, good bathroom minus a shower curtain and sure the bathroom gets wet but hey this is a minor concern. The room is cleaned daily, the aircon cool.
Im not sure why some people would review this hotel as poor!! Maybe their expectation are wayward.

The location is great, pretty much a 300mt walk to the shopping centre, 500mt to bangla road and a 200 baht ride to the beach, no you cant take your white hotel towel to the beach and really who would want to!! Go to the shopping centre and buy a towel hmm so easy!!!!

Thank you fundee for an enjoyable stay.

We (2 of us) stayed in FunDee on 11-13 february 2014.
We had great service from the hotel and service staff , Natty.

We had a pleasant stay and enjoyed friendly service from the hotel staff.

The hotel is slight away than my expectation as i usually stay in ACCA Patong. Nevertheless i still enjoy my stay due to the cleanliness of the hotel and great service from the hotel staff.

Certainly will be one of the hotels which i will come back to or recommend to others

Cozy hotel tucked neatly near Jungceylon Mall but at a little distance from Patong Beach. Friendly staff (call out for Toon - hope your hand heals soon!) and comfortable rooms. Had a comfortable stay.
