“Disappointed and not worth staying”
Reviewed 6 January 2012

Beware of this hotel! You might not be expecting what you wanted. This was what happened. I booked a loft suite and specifically mention to the hotel manager which room I wanted in July 2011. Reservation was confirmed then. However, when I check in today, they give me a room which have two beds and said that it was a loft suite. It was so different from the picture of a loft suite in their website. No bathtub, very small than the loft suite which was shown in their website. I feel so cheated. For the price you are paying, you are able to get better hotel in patong.

We stayed for 3 nights in Nov 2011 @ 3510 THB/Night with BF incl. It is much cheaper if you go in off season i.e. before November.
As expressed by other travellers, there is no doubt about the location (proximity to Bangla whi;e also being inside a Mall, seconded only by the Millenium resort hotel) and the beauty of this hotel which will also be evident when you see the pics shared.

The upper floors of the hotel are still under construction (but no noise), so the swimming pool and restaurant is not ready yet. The breakfast is served at 101 Cafe (pic attached) just across in the food street (the hotel opens in the food street) which serves 2 choices of bf i.e. English and continental with much similarity but it is decent and sufficient for anyone. Only downside is that the bf starts around 9AM!!!!!

The hotel is in true meaning of the term a "Boutique" hotel, The best part of which is you get to choose your own room from usually a choice of 4-5 rooms depending on availability.

The amenities in the room are top class and new ranging from the soft bathrobes, towels and additional beach towels and complimentary beach mat! Same is true for bathroom amenities. Shower is warm as can be.

I was really satisfied by the kind staff and their helping attitude. You are welcomed with a drink and seated on the sofa for the smoothest check-in process you might have experienced. The nicest thing they did was that as we were leaving early on the last morning and were to miss our bf (as the bf starts at 9am), the staff had packed a McD breakfast for us as it is the only eatery open at that hour.

We might forget other things but we will remember this kind gesture by them. Kindness goes a long way.

Room Tip: Get any standard room, or even superior if the price is right, but the suites are not worth the high...

This unique hotel was a great place to stay. It was right in the Jungceylon shopping center, so it was convenientto shopping and lots of restaurants but you didn't hear any noise from the crowds. The rooms were fun and quirky, clean and modern. The beach was close, only a block or so away. The employees were very friendly and helpful. We would definitely recommend this hotel to others.

We stayed in this hotel in September 2011 - the best part if the location which is right inside JungCeylong Mall in the heart of Patong. Shopping and food options are just a 1 min stroll away - after each shopping we used to come to our room to drop in our shopping bags and go for more... mall also has good massage and facial parlours and also cineplex.... Patong beach is 20 min walk... We paid around 77SGD per night and stayed for 3 nights... the rooms are very small and i found them a bit clostophobic given the amount of decoration items in such a small area and no proper ventilation as we couldnt open the windows.... the bathroom was disappointing as it was just a small partition right across the beds... but given the location convinience, cost and the cleanliness since its new and in-room wifi - i would definitely stay here again if i visit Phuket and decide to stay in Patong

Room Tip: Standard rooms might be very small as we found the deluxe rooms small, book for a deluxe room and yo...

One of the most unique hotel in terms of decoration that I've ever visited.
The hotel are beautifully decorated, with a wide open reception area in white, and friendly & helpful staffs.
Each room is unique as well, with their own theme, ours room is decorated in grocery store style, which we like it very much also.
The location couldn't be better, it's just right in the Jungceylon shopping mall, with easy access to the mall anytime. The F&B stretch are just right in front of the hotel main door.
At the time we check in, the roof top cafe and jacuzzi are still in construction, so no luck for us to try it out.
Price wise also very competitive, judging from the service provided and location.

Room Tip: Avoid standard room, as those rooms has no windows, as for a superior room at least.

Either you are a teenager or still re-living in your teenage years, you will hail and adore this hotel. Equiped with Free Wifi throughout the hotel, its a nice and simple, really simple, layout and concept hotel.

My spouse and i was greeted by the welcoming wide and white lobby of Pimnara Boutique hotel and we had a superior room.We also had the opportunity to choose the color concept of our preference, ranging from milky pink to tropical orange rooms. Perhaps it was low season, the front office staff was very warming enough to guide us to our preffered room.

The layout in the room in general are pretty simple, about 40++ sqm, there is no boudary between the bath and bedroom, standing in the way is only an heavy black out curtain in which once its drawn, you'll feel like though you've been sucked into the oblivion , the room is absolutely dark, insufficient lighting and yes if you are claustrophobic, its not advisable for you to stay in the room cause THERE IS NO WINDOW IN THE SUPERIOR ROOM with the money you pay, and perhaps the owner is trying to cut some cost, the room lighting is fitted with PLC downlight, more like those energy saving lamp you'll have in your dreadful office, the only difference is its more yellowish.

Equipped with bath tub , tuck at the side of of the room and a showering cubicle, i can understand the designers' intention of saving space, Good intend, but the weak water pressure and the hot water that don't seem to be ever warm enough just made me forgotten about the designers' intention.Taking a shower in the room seems more to be like a military endurance training with the aircon chilling your room and the chilling you in the shower cubicle. And try not to release too much of your solid waste, the toilet bowl and its brand new sewage system might not be able to handle too much of your crap and obviously it'll choke.

On the soft side, the management is detail enough to provided 2 beach towel and a nice beach mat. We didnt use much of the towels for beach cause we came during the rainy season. But , we manage to use the beach towel for another amazing purpose, and thats to act as floor mat to dry our feet placed strategically in between the shower cubicle spanning across to the bathtub and my bedside.

And as for those who suffers sudden shock by loud noise issue, courage issue, paranormal issue or intimacy issue. Don't be alarmed ,spooked, shocked or angered by the ridiculously loud gun shots emitting its sound wave through the densely constructed building. It is annoying loud, and it will annoy you from 10am to 10 at night. The annoying shots will range from 6 to 7 loud bangs depending on how many waves of shooting. We didn't know about the underground shooting until my spouse got so worried about the building structures integrity and me worry about alien abducting me, we pluck our courage and confront the front office manager to realise its just the absolutely loud and annoying underground shooting range nearby.

Its not all that bad in this hotel in my point of view, what i really love most is the shape of the metal mug and the 2 complimentary bottles of mineral water on my desk, they're the most interesting ones i've ever seen. Other than that, perhaps it just didnt fit what i exepected for having to pay $100USD++ per night for a room that don't have window, dont have proper hot water pressure for shower, dont have proper channels for in-room entertainment, dont' have window, dont have accent lighting, don't have complimentary breakfast, dont' have proper flooring the common corridoor, don't have good sewage system, don't have sufficient lighting and don't have window.

Other than that, its just fine when you spend your time anywhere but in your room.

Jungceylong is pretty big but not huge, for first timer in thailand, do try food from foodcourt at the basement to boost your courage on thai cuisine before venturing into dark alleys for a real authentic meal, this foodcourt pretty much have the whole of thailand famous cuisines there, its base on credit system, remember to purchase the card over the counter situated across the drink stall. and do try doing facial at 300bahts, massage 450 bahts, foot scrubs at 250 bahts, foot massage at 180 bahts for 30 mins and pedicure ate 200 bahts you'll feel more relaxed and prepared when you return back to your room.

Pingpong show and drinks at Soi Bangla is a must, try not to have direct eye contact with the people taunting you to buy their stuff ,if you are not interested, very quickly they'll loose interest in you and bug the next person behind you.

Great tourist destination, not so controversial preference hotel we stayed in,

Room Tip: There are many colors and themes and window or without window rooms to choose from, check with the re...

They have not laid the carpet on their floors yet!
Opened for 4 months only, the staff told me. It is a beautiful hotel and kudos to the designer who seem to put a lot of personal touches to the hotel interior. Front desk staff was very helpful and polite with good command of english.
Rooms are very clean and beautifully furnished. We stayed in the standard room which was decent sized with queen bed. Your room window faces the mall so nothing much to shout about the view. The bathrobes are to DIE for; softest ever bathrobes. Good for phuket visitors either on beach holiday or more pampered traveller who requires the comfort of shopping mall air-conditioning. Business travellers may consider this hotel too if required to stay near patong beach area.
Just a 10-15 min stroll to patong beach and the lively bangla night spot area. Patong beach is nice and clean, warm waters with gentle surf when we visited.
Hotel is smack on Jungcelyon shopping mall premises and great shopping (mall environment) and very reasonably priced food. we had steak and wine at the wine resturant just beside the hotel and their prices were very reasonable and quality of food was there too. $20-25USD/pax should set you up a good meal with alcoholic drink included. If you want cheaper alternative, you can go to the basement food court and they serve decent thai food there as well.
The hotel is really beautiful, will surely go back there very soonest!

Room Tip: if u got the dough, try the loft... it sure looks big and pretty
