Checked-in on 30Apr with my girlfriend and checked out on 03May with my fiancee.

Made arrangements with Ms Chadaporn from the Reservation Center via email for romantic room arrangement with candles & rose petals. It was planned as a surprise to allow me a private & intimate environment after our dinner to propose to my girlfriend.

There was some time-dependent arrangements to execute the surprise and I'm immensely glad to say that Ms Chadaporn, the beautiful ladies of Front Office, housekeeping & any other staff who assisted exceeded the expectations of my specific requests!

My fiancee was thoroughly surprised and touched by the setup and graciously accepted by proposal.

Thank you again, Sea Sun Sand Resort! Sue and myself will forever hold this special hotel in our memories...

As for the hotel, it's suitably located far enough from the hustle & bustle of Patong while providing a wonderful panoramic view of Patong bay from the swimming pool. The room were very well equipped & spacious and the toilet included an overhead shower and bathtub.
Breakfast spread was well balanced between international & local Thai fare.
Most of the rooms with a view or privacy are located deeper within the resort but the walk is reasonable nonetheless...

Room Tip: You may want to opt for the sea view rooms as the mountain view ones are basically overlooking a hil...

We arrived at the hotel with everyone tired and exhausted due to a really early flight. Checking-in took a lot longer than it should because of the little hiccups the front desk had with our reservation. We requested for 2 sea-facing rooms prior to our arrival and our request was acknowledged. However, upon arrival, we were told that we would need to pay an upgrade should we want a sea-facing room. We weren't very sure why weren't we told beforehard with regard to the extra charges. Nevertheless, we left out our intentions and settled for a normal room. The standard room was still spacious, and had it's little pond view too (which in turn resulted to a bad experience).

However, as days passed, we realised the amount of mosquitoes we had to deal with everyday, coming from the stagnant waters of the mini pond in our balcony. The pond was unkempt and breeded mosquitoes. Furthermore, breakfast in the hotel was not as fantastic as the amount you would have to pay should you require an extra breakfast for a non-hotel guest.

We had an airport transfer arranged with the hotel which was confirmed prior to our arrival, and again upon checking-in. During our email correspondence and upon checking-in, we had confirmed that an extra person to be included in the airport transfer would cost 200THB, and we therefore agreed to the amount stated. However, when we called down on the day of our pick-up to reconfirm, we were told by the staff again, it was 300THB for the extra person. After much negotiation on the phone, the unhappy-sounding and snickering receptionist finally conformed to the 200THB agreed on earlier. We finally went down to perform our check-out, and what shocked us this time is that the front desk staff now told us that it will cost 400THB for the extra person instead. It was extremely ridiculous to be quoted 3 different rates all within the same freaking day. The Front Office Manager stepped in, and she was the rudest of them all. She kept shouting and used rude words that one should not use towards one's guest. The front desk staff at this hotel has certainly ruined our beautiful trip.

I would never recommend this hotel to anybody else, and i'll definitely never step foot in it again. You can definitely pay cheaper for a better hotel in Patong. That's an assurance.

It was a nice holiday to stay at the hotel, the staff are courteous, nice clean atmosphere, nice swimming pool, just overlooking the patong beach, hardly a 5 minute walk from the hotel, (except that the use of pool is restricted from 9 AM to & PM only) should be extended, food served is good, no room service after 11 PM, good place to go back again

Room Tip: Rooms in the Wing C seem to be best located

It was a honeymoon for 5d4n, we booked the deluxe jacuzzi room. i had requested for early check-in as my flight reaches pretty early and to my surprise, we were allowed to check-in when we arrive at the hotel at 10am local time. though pretty far from the lobby (we had to take 3 lifts to get to the room) but the view was spectacular. it was facing the sea and for 3 nights, we could see fireworks.

the location of the hotel is off the busy nightlife area but if you don't mind walking along the beach, you can still reach bangla street. the room is big, spacious with an outdoor jacuzzi bathtub in the balcony. if one is into suntanning, it can be done in the balcony. bathroom is comfortable, with a seperate shower and bathtub.however, the drainage of the water in the shower is slow in the shower but all i did was to lift up the tile and water will drain off like another place and it's pretty fast.

out of the hotel, there is a few massage places and places for food is about a 2min walk. beach is only about 5mins away from the hotel but bangla street and jungceylon is pretty far. however if you don't miind a scroll along the beach, you can probably reach about 15mins walk.

there is a few houses at the side of the hotel and laundry there is much cheaper @ 50baht/kg. visiting places of interest can be booked at a small counter just at the lobby and the man there is very helpful in recommendations.

our overall stay was really superb and we even toyed with the idea of extending for 2 more nights. we would definitely recommend this hotel to any of our friends if they intend to go phuket!

Nice hotel to stay. Dont expect aircond or fan at reception area. Only problem with the hotel is signage to rooms. we stay at B207. but to go to the room , its like playing treasure hunt. if u r new, u wouldn't know how to get there. no proper signage. Was surprise to have private pool at this hotel. Please take note if u want to have private pool. ask for B or A level. Tourist area all quite nearby. Good area to stay. Fantasea was good. Highly amazingly recommended. But the air cond was a let down, and warm. By the way TQ Sea Sun Sand Resort n TQ Phuket.

Room Tip: Short n T shirt.

We stayed here for 5 days from 23rd - 28th March 2013, and the stay could not be better. The location of the hotel is off the main busy areas of Patong and thus away from the noise of the nightlife. Still everything is only a 5-10 mins walk.
We stayed in a Deluxe Suite B307 and though it was not supposed to be Sea View, our terrace offered a lovely view of the Sea. The room was clean and fresh throughout the stay, courtesy a lovely housekeeping staff. This was despite us coming in everyday with loads of sand :-)
The staff was always smiling and very helpful throughout our stay.

Special Mention to the SPA - One of the best spa experiences I have ever had. The ambiance is amazing with water sounds, soft music and surreal atmosphere. Highly recommend the Aromatherapy Massage.

Recommendations:
1. Since the best mode of transport in a motorbike, hire one from a nearby place. Ask the reception for NEENA. She gives very good rates.
2. The Concierge desk is monitored by a lady and her husband. They were the most informative and helpful, not only in tours but local information too. They are highly recommended.

Room Tip: Ask them to give a room on the higher floors. They have very good views, though they might be a bit...

This hotel is great because of its location. Only a few hotels in Patong have a view of the ocean; this one is part of the few! It is close enough to the noisy and fun centre of Patong but when you are back it feels like a true quite tropical island experience. The rooms are airy and modern. The breakfast area has a beautiful view of the sea and offers a wide variety of delicious food. The pool is perfectly located (there are more than one) for beautiful sunset views. The only fault we could find was that none of the public areas have aircon but they follow a greenish approach! We had a deluxe room with partial sea view, next to the pool (we also enjoyed the close proximity as it was so hot!). We can highly recommend this hotel based on price, service, location and what they have on offer!!!
