The resort has a very good location and has its own private beach, which is clean with blue waters. The rooms are clean and have very good view of the sea which we loved. We went to their Italian restaurant and were pleased with the food and warm service. Overall there was nothing we could complain about the place as it had everything that a good resort should offer its customers. Will definitely try their other properties across Thailand. Thank you Amari for a wonderful vacation!

Room Tip: Good for travelers who are ready to walk some distance as it is at the end of Patong Bay and the mar...

Really enjoyed our time at the Amari. Position was fantastic because you are far enough away from the busy Patong area to enjoy the peace and quiet yet close enough to stroll down into the middle of the action. If you don't mind a walk it's 10-15 mins to the middle of Patong or its about 200 baht to anywhere in Patong.

Staff were exceptional, hosts were always asking what they could do for you and you felt it was genuine not just an employee going though the motions. Food was good, breakfast spread was great, sitting by the water with the views of Patong Bay every morning was just magic. Dinner nights were also good and really not that expensive for hotel restaurants. The lobby bar was fantastic with stunning views over the Patong Bay both day and night. Good happy hour several times a day and evening. Pools were really nice, lots of day beds and lounges and still have the views over Patong.

Rooms seemed to be recently refurbished and were very tidy, again right over the water. Not the biggest of rooms, bathrooms were like one person but still everything you needed.

We booked for 8 nights at the Amari and then 8 nights at Kata Beach at another Hotel. We were expecting the Amari to be the lessor of the two hotels we had booked but we ended up cancelling the second Kata beach accommodation after a couple of nights and returned to the Amari Patong.

The Amari really exceeded our expectations and we can't wait to return. Do yourself a favor and stay at the Amari Patong. Exceptional value and location.

Room Tip: Deluxe and ocean facing rooms are great. Outstanding water views.

This was my husband and I first visit to Thailand. The Amari Resort in Patong had the best service of any resort we have visited. The resort was beautiful and the staff at the resort went over and above!!!!!!!! They were lovely. We had dinner last night at the Italian restaurant and the atmosphere was beautiful and service and food exceptional. I would love to return and would love to stay here again. Thank you for a lovely memory of Thailand.

A totally flawless experience. The Breeze Spa was the most breathtaking way to relax. A massage and jacuzzi overlooking the ocean. Was this paradise?

La Gritta, the Italian restaurant attached to the hotel, was one of the most outstanding eating experiences of my life and I am not easy to impress.

I had tears in my eyes when we got to our room, stepped onto the balcony and realised I could probably jump straight from there into the ocean (I stayed in a Deluxe Ocean View room).

The staff were wonderful. My bag was lost upon arrival by my airline and the Amari staff sorted the whole thing out. They called the airline every hour on the hour until it was returned right to my doorstep.

The buffet breakfast had my partner and I collecting our jaws from the floor. What a spread!

We wanted for nothing. I really needed a break from life and the Amari totally delivered.

Room Tip: We stayed in a Deluxe Ocean View room. If you want to open your eyes every morning and look straight...

We were in Phuket from the 2nd of July to the 9th. We had previously spent many long hours sifting through the hundreds of hotels on offer and reading through just as many reviews. We finally chose Amari. After a horrendous day of travelling, we were met at the airport around midnight by an Amari staff member with a lovely welcome, a bottle of water for each of us & perfumed, wet towels to refresh ourselves. Upon arrival, we were promptly checked in and taken to our upgraded room where the beach was only a few metres from our balcony. Adaptors were brought to us immediately after asking for them, as was a birthday cake for my husband. What a lovely gesture!

Amari is located just on the edge of the bay within Patong Beach so that you were just far enough from the main tourist strip, but close enough to be able to see the nightly fireworks. A tuk tuk, which is always waiting outside the hotel’s foyer, takes you into the main strip within a few minutes for 200 baht ($7). We walked in one day and it took 15 minutes. After a night out, Amari has a bar open until late with a magnificent view of the lights of Patong.

The rooms are cleaned daily and all the staff around the place is friendly. The beds are comfortable and the air conditioning is very efficient. The hotel is 30 years old, but it must have been refurbished as it looks new and includes fresh colours and décor. The Wi-Fi is free throughout the hotel and there is a great lounge for using computers, watching TV, reading & relaxing. My daughter & I enjoyed a lovely massage at Breeze Spa where we could hear the ocean, as it was basically situated on a huge balcony, but built high into the hill so that it was also private.

The executive chef at the main restaurant is knowledgeable about coeliac disease so he was helpful when it came to our daughter's allergies to gluten. Every night the main restaurant has a different theme. BBQ night was the best & I don't even eat red meat so I had two tiger prawns & all the salad I could muster.

The ladies at the information desk are always smiling and very helpful when it came to planning our tours/activities. The hotel has its very own jetty which includes deck chairs & a bar where drinks & aperitifs are served daily at 5.30. The walk in itself towards the jetty is very majestic with its tropical attributes, with the opportunity to meet some interesting characters of nature along the way. The pool area has an abundance of deck chairs so we never had trouble finding one. Happy hour happens twice daily and includes 1/2 price cocktails.

Although the staff is friendly, most of the restaurant and cleaning staff have limited English so it was difficult to communicate with them. The few water activities they have are not very well publicised and need to be hired. Amari is built into the side of a hill, making it split level, and it took a good five minutes to arrive at the lobby after a few stops to negotiate stairs and recoup, but it certainly was good exercise. If you are unable to climb stairs, let them know so that you can get a room on the first level where there is an elevator. Apart from those few things, we couldn’t have asked for anything more in a hotel.

Stella

Room Tip: Ask for a Deluxe Ocean View. We also had a connecting room for our teenage children.

We just had a vacation at Amari Phuket. We arrived on the 3rd and left on the 12th July 2014. The hotel is incredible and the hospitality in general was great. We had an awesome treatment at La Gritta Italian Restaurant by Chef Patrizia Battolou. She is a remarkable Chef who knows how to give guests value for their money. Patrizia prepared an amazing dish of prawns and lobster for us during our stay. The food was delicious and well prepared. She is very meticulous.

Our special thanks also goes to the Manager Food and Beverage, Luz Ermatinger. The frontline staff also were always very helpful, our special thanks also to Autapon.

You definitely get value for your money at Amari Phuket. Thanks guys you rock keep it up!!!

Room Tip: The rooms behind the reception are bigger and quieter. They also have full sea view.
