What a lovely experience we had staying at this hotel, the staff were exceptional , as was the rooms and grounds, We dined at Sala Bua which was fantastic. Our room was a deluxe beachfront and is well worth the little bit extra. The rooms are not overly huge, however have all the mod cons. This resort is a boutique hotel, so if you are looking for something intimate then this is the place. Pool is only small, but still sufficient enough, particularly as you have the beach directly in front

We are a group of four ladies, all three generations - and we are extremely happy with the hotel. After great tropical experience at Phi Phi Paradise Pearl Bungalows with gorgeouse turquoise beach and total relaxation we were looking for the combination of the same and activies / nightlife. Impiana is definitely the best of both worlds. I dislike huge modern hotel buildings , prefer bungalow / condo type and this hotel is exactly my type. I previously stayed at Kata beach resort and spa on Kata beach app five years ago and this time I was completely shocked at what Kata has become in recent years. So we chose Impiana on Patong and are extremely happy.
Great service, good pool, plenty of very comfortable ( not plastic! ) beds, excellent pool bar, restaurant on site - one of the best in Patong with waterfront dining, tastefully done rooms. Everything ( including Bangla road ) is just minutes walk away and yet you have all the privacy.
Great breakfast. The only complaint - power of air conditioning unit - we have to keep it running all day to keep the comfortable temperature. But probably it is not the case for all rooms.

I was treated to stay at this hotel by a friend and therefore i could not actually tell you what it cost to stay there. But what i can tell you is that it was a distinctly mediocre experience.

Admittedly there was not much that the hotel could have done about the torrential rain that poured down every day, but I felt that some of the staff were not very friendly and did not speak very good English. When I asked for some crisps at the bar it sent nervous tremors around the resort and resulted in an awkward stalemate.

It is conveniently located adjacent to various prostitutes parading up and down the street outside, numerous bars full of pedophiles and more ladyboys than you could hope to come across in a lifetime.

I booked this hotel last minute for our last night in Thailand. We wanted to experience Patong, yet have an ocean front, luxurious room. Unlike most hotels on Patong beach, this one isn't across the street from the beach, it is right on it. The grounds were phenomenal, with lush flora and fauna surrounding the property. The pool was amazing as well, with wait staff to accommodate you as well. Keep the doors closed tightly though!! There are many mosquitoes, and if you have a phobia against them like I do, the housekeeping staff will spray and/or plug in the citranella mosquito repellents. It is right in the heart of the live and popping night life of Patong beach, so a taxi cab is not needed to get to the goods. Great spot, great price (through Agoda), and great location. Would do it again!

Room Tip: We chose the cheapest room since we were only staying for one night, and it was our last. We chose...

I stayed here in a garden view room and loved it! The resort rooms are now starting to get a little run down compared to when I stayed here in 2005. Located on the beach, what better way to start the day then to step outside your door and go for a walk along the beautiful beach splashing the warm water. This same beach is also famous for the killer sun sets of an evening which many people flock to the beach to see. The resort pool is fantastic and staff go out of their way to make your stay a great one. Security guards employed there need to learn how to smile and greet guests. For the single man whom brings back a little company, a 2000 tbh applies and additional guest check in as per all the other hotels, however, if there is a chance that the companion you bring back is of the same sex, the staff kindly inform you prior to you checking them in as your guest. Central to the night life and shopping district of Patong, only a 3 minute walk and it's all at your finger tips. Thai traders are always trying to do a deal, it's their way of life, they are fun, friendly and the country has adopted the term " land of smiles" and very true! My package was well priced with breakfast included each day and upon check out, the staff gave me as late of check out as possible, even after that they offered me a shower to freshen up before going to the airport later that night. If there is one thing i had issues with it would be the lack of power the air conditioning has, like most resorts i have stayed at in thailand, the air conditioners really have trouble keeping up with the weather conditions, in order to try and keep the room cool, i had to ask for an additional room tag to keep the power running while i was out, staff had no issue with this. I had room service the first night and also ate at the spices restaurant on site, all meals are very cheap and delicious! If your looking for a resort that is close to everything and has the beach with all water activities on it, I highly recommend this resort.

Stayed here for four nights and really enjoyed it. Initially allocated one of three rooms that smelled awful and had no windows. Moved to room 113 and loved it.
I'm not a fan of the nightlife, but if you are, this hotel is right near Bangla road and on the beach. The beach is public not private as are all beaches in Phuket. It was downgraded from a 5 to a 2 star due to sewage in the water. Due to the rain we did not spend much time in the sea so this was no worry to me.
The hotel design is not such that your room will have views at all, as it seems designed to offer quality accommodation near the centre of Patong.
Will come back here if Patong was a place that I wanted to see again, but since ping pong balls now have a very different meaning for me, I've seen all I wish to see.
Still I will recommend this little hotel to anyone daring to take on Thailand's most deprived street. At least you can wash off the adventures in relative luxury ;)
