I stayed here for four nights with a friend. I was surprised given some reviews but I would stay again for sure.

Room- very good. Beds firm but good sizes for a twin room. Balcony enjoyable and overlooking the relaxation pool.
Bathroom good, good lighting. Free wifi a bonus. Checked with us daily at breakfast for any room issues and rectified very quickly. (Only one issue with shower drain but not a big issue)

Food- only ate breakfast here. Great variety including different fruits to try. Appealing, fresh. Always onto us for tea and coffee on sitting and top ups. Remembered us and would always smile and talk with us. Approached for room maintenance and followed up specifically sighting the previous issue to make sure it was rectified

Pool- relaxation pool was being worked on but was up and running in a couple of days. Great idea to accomodate families and people not wanting to be surrounded by kids. Lots of seats. Beach on the doorstep too.

Massages- plenty on the street but cannot go past the one in the hotel. Lovely staff, great prices and offerings. Just should be open later in the evening but not a big issue.

Staff- amazing! Cannot fault them. Well presented, friendly, happy. Up for a laugh, great memory as had our key ready before we got to the desk. Helpful booking private classes or tours we cannot do on street.

Gardens well maintained. Quiet rokms though fireworks caught us off guard once but werent at terrible hours. Was very pleasantly surprised and would absolutely stay again!

So what do you do for 4 days and 3nights at a town that never sleeps. Well you dont sleep!!. As fun as it was I did get some shut eye eventually but with the world cup going on it was hard. I was skeptical about the hotel at first as I read a few reviews fom trip advisor and in a way I was ready for the worse but When you get here it was the experience, the staff service, cleanliness, facilities and food that are the 5 stars you're looking for. My wife loved the gym, my daughter the pool and of course myself the buffet breakfast. The location of the hotel could not be any nearer to the beach compared to others on the same stretch. Very convenient to all the bars and restaurants. The highlight for me was how friendly the staff were and how they want to go out of their way to make your stay comfortable. Lots of massage outlets nearby and walking distance to bangla road. This is where the party is every night. The band at red hot chilli(I think thats what its called) was good at least for my liking. If you're doing the tours make sure you shop a few places just like when you want to convert your dollars. Food anywhere is good but for me its about the service. I dont mind paying bit more as long as its clean, tasty and good service. Have fun and time is never on your side, so make the most of it.

Good quality, family friendly, hotel that is very central to the main hot spots in Patong Beach, Phuket. Our family (2 adults, 2 pre-teen boys and an infant girl) stayed 10 nights in two adjoining rooms. Our package included breakfast which was good value, plus free WiFi which was reliable and super fast (not like Australia). There are two large pools, including a kiddy pool. There is a pool bar which serves drinks and snack food at reasonable hotel prices. There is an on-site spa which is expensive by Patong standards, and there are so many spas within walking distance of hotel I don't know why it's there. They hold a BBQ night on Thursdays which was really nice. The other hotel guests where a mix of families, singles and couples. Many from Australia, but also Europeans (West and East by their accents and dress standards).

Room quality was standard to good. Our rooms had old style TV's (not flat panel), but other rooms were all fitted with flat panel. Aircon was noisy but worked pretty well. Rooms are serviced every day and they did a good job. There is several bottles of free "bottled water" provided daily for free. Beds were comfy if a little "hard". Plenty of pillows, blankets etc. Small bar fridge in each room can be used to store your own purchased drinks (making it cheaper to drink etc).

The hotel itself is very close to the Patong Beach (which is actually pretty disgusting in terms of garbage, noise, beach vendors etc), lots of shops, mini-marts, restaurants and the like. Tuk Tuks are everywhere so you can get anywhere quickly and cheaply.

Only major negative is closeness of the hotel to beach. At night stupid beach vendors set off fireworks which go off with a pretty loud BANG. Keeps you on your toes. Oh, and you can find the left over shells on the beach in the morning, along with all the other plastic that washes up on the shore.

Overall the hotel is pretty good value, 7 / 10 (would be 8 if we had of had flat screens!)

Room Tip: If you are not happy just tell them and they should change room for you. One room we knew of did have a bad smell.

Very central location, very friendly staff, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be back!
Good value for money, you get what you pay for, relatively small room but it had a huge (but hard) bed!!
It has a safe vibe as well, everyone is always smiling.

We loved it. Great value for money. Excellent location; near Bang la rd, beach, Jungcelong shopping, all restaurants including "Sea Hag "nearby which we loved. Short walk to everything. Great varied breakfast, best omelettes to start the day. Top in house massage. Friendliest staff really made the stay fun, including at pool bars. Our room was right near the swim up bar, very handy. Concierge staff went above and beyond every day. Loved the nightlife, restaurants, street stalls all at the foot of this hotel. Also, We think it's much better than horizon at karon beach. Much quieter there and up a hill further from beach. One thing, be prepared to pay triple the price for tours booked through the hotel such as James Bond Island, better to shop around for those. Other than that great room, beautifully chilled with air con, complimentary bottled water daily. Thanks too for hubby's birthday fruit platter, a lovely surprise at the end of another hot action packed day. Top effort Horizon. Thank you from Australia. Cheers, Ingrid and Jon

Room Tip: Ground floor was great, better for us with husbands sore hip. Room 137 was right at first pool with swim up bar which we loved. Close to reception, breakfast etc. highly recommend.
