We stayed on the 10th floor on the Sunset wing, the view was fantastic. Great breakfast every morning. King size bed, The Colour scheme in the room is a little bit different to other places we have stayed before, very trendy. Staff very friendly and fast service if you need them. Great pool, would recommend this Hotel.

Room Tip: Up to you really, you can choose a room with ocean views, or a room near the pool, or just looking a...

This was our second time here, last time was October last year. Stayed 13 days in a ground floor sunrise wing room. This is the 3 storey building facing the main pool.
Checkin was smooth and quick. Shown to our room and the bellboy ran through everything for us which I find very helpful. Rooms are larger than the sunset rooms, plenty of storage which is fantastic as I like to be organised and settled in. Bathrooms are a good size with a separate shower & bath. Only downside is the lightening is a bit dull. (Light behind the mirror would be nice)
Beds comfortable and even pillows are ok. Outside our room (balcony/verandah) has a day bed, this doesn't look comfortable at all, never sat on this at all. Table and chairs would be much more practical. Also there's not much cover, so when it rains, everything gets wet so make sure your clothes airer is right in the corner near the door. Ground floor rooms are just a few steps from the pool which is just so handy.
Breakfast was good with a good selection every day Only down side was the coffee....yuk! But there is plenty of juice to choose from.
Around the pool, service is a little lax, but it's not far to get up and walk to the bar. Food is good, and reasonably priced. The staff put on a mini show of sorts every day around 2 which is lovely, try & catch one.
Papaya restaurant is worth a visit, food & service is great. Had a table up in one of the little huts, it was so beautiful. Even had a visit from one of the local cats, who I snuck bits of chicken too.....:)
Just outside the hotel is a tour booth which also does laundry, have it in by about midday and it's back by midday the next. Very handy. Booked our transfer to the airport here, two people for 700b, not too bad. There is also currency exchange next to the tour booth.
The villa mart that was in banana walk has now gone, this was quite sad as it was so handy. There's a Big one, 7/11 store on the left side just down a side street, and also a liquor store a bit further down, just near karlsens steakhouse.
Ok, one of the downsides at this hotel is no irons are allowed in the room, you have to pay about 90b to have a dress ironed. Some things just need to be hand washed and therefore ironed!
Overall a good stay, I hope to come back soon.

My family and I have just returned from a 10 night stay at this hotel. Throughout the entire stay the staff were friendly and welcoming. The main pool was quite nice but missing a swim up bar and spa! We had a Superior Sunrise Room which overlooked the main pool....so the view was stunning. However, the room was a little disappointing as it was quite small and, the balcony was tiny and the lighting in the bathroom was extremely poor...very dark. Aside from that we enjoyed our stay here as the location was ideal....smack bang in the middle of Patong Beach....short walk to restaurants, massage places and Bangla Road. I would recommend this hotel to other traveller's but would suggest booking a larger room.

Stayed at this resort for 8 nights
Location is great a short walk to Bangla Rd and Jungceylon.
Saved a fortune not having to use tuk tuks or taxi's.
We had a room on the 10th floor amazing views with a king size bed.
Rooms are cleaned daily
I thought the rooms were a little small.
Breakfast buffet was good.
Disappointed on check in no cold face washer or cold drink but very quick to our room,
Also when checking out had to struggle with our luggage as no-one came to get it.
No free wi-fi
Next holiday we will return overall a great hotel

Room Tip: A higher room with a view

The Patong Beach Hotel is at the end of the road right across from the beach. This hotel is so quiet and the staff is so courteous. I highly recommend staying here if you want to have a good nights rest after partying all day and long into the evening.

Room Tip: get the beach view

Second stay at patong beach hotel and it only improves. Seventh floor in a refurbished room great balcony lovely views. We found all staff pleasant and helpful and room cleaned every day while at breakfast which was more than adequate and nice dining area. Used the safe at reception no problem. We would certainly return again and recommend to anyone.keep up the good work

Room Tip: Choose a room if possible seventh floor view of sea and mountains.
