“Gorgeous 'Balinese' Hotel”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 21 June 2014

After the helpful reviews here, my Bf and i decided on this hotel. It's a gem, albeit fair from the happening spots at Phuket (good 15mins walk). Everything was perfect except a tiny detail that had offended us a little. I will come to that later. The lobby was gorgeous, we were served a delicious mocktail that tasted like cranberry juice and a nice cold towel while waiting for the recept to 'check us in'. Place had a balinese resort feel to it, families were enjoying the pool. The pool access rooms are very tempting, with that amount we could have got a villa so we settled for the most basic room.

Everything was perfect till we were informed by the front desk that our room was not ready, that's fine as it was only 11am. We were preparred to wait out till the check in time. The front desk guy did proposed that other rooms were available but it will be an upgrade and we had to pay about Singapore dollar 40 a night, it was very tempting as we could check in immediately and had a nice balcony with a swing. We agreed on that and happily gave our credit card. While waiting there was another Aussie couple (judging by their accents, i could be wrong) were also told their room are not ready but wait for it.... another front desk lady told them that they will be given a free upgrade. We were shocked and thought maybe we heard wrongly. We did not want our trip to be ruined so just live and let live, money wasn't the issue but did at that moment i did ask myself if raciscm was the case there. If we were white could we get the $40 a night (we stayed for 2 nights) waive off as well?
I guessed the front desk servicing us was at the other counter and didnt realise his colleage was offering a free upgrade to that lucky couple.

Other that the unforunate incident that happened, the stay throughout was perfect. We would definetely stay there again the next visit!

ps. The buffet breakfast is excellent! Love the spread and the egg counter!

Room Tip: Request for a pool view room.

If you happen to stay at this fantastic resort and you find things to complain about then you really need to get a life. I have been here for a week and the place is divine. Just a minute's walk to Patong beach, a hop skip and a jump to convenience stores and pharmacies and not much further to vast choice at nearby restaurants. However, you may choose to never leave the resort. Excellent on site restaurants (or room service if you're REALLY lazy), various on site body treatments, beautiful sunbathing and swimming facilities, a super breakfast to start the day....it's all a part of Burasari. The staff are delightful, the resort is immaculate and the vegetation lining the walkways is inspirational. This is one very beautiful holiday destination.

Stayed at the resort for 4days 3nights with my friends and we had a wonderful experience from the start to the end. Had the elite room with pool view. The room was clean and maintained and really spacious! Mini bar which was free and refillable every day. Nice balcony with sun bed and comfy chairs to relax. We liked that they provided a beach bag in the room with beach towels inside for our pool/water activities. There were two pools however one was smaller mainly for rooms with pool access only. The breakfast every morning had a good variety and we were happily satisfied. The best thing is the location, tucked away on the side from the noisy Main Street yet convenient enough (5-10min walk to paring beach). It was more private, cosy and comfortable which is what we needed in a getaway. Lots of shopping nearby through walking. Jungceylon mall is a 5min tuk tuk ride away or a 20min walk, according to your preference. The spa inside the resort was blissful. You get what you pay for top notch service and quality. Definitely returning again!

Room Tip: Pool access if you could afford it otherwise the elite rooms with pool view and balcony is best

We first stayed at the burasari in 2011 and loved it so much we decided to return again. We've never stayed at the same hotel twice as we usually like to try new ones out. Once again we were super impressed with the burasari. We were upgraded to a lovely room and they'd made a pretty flower arrangement on the bed that said 'welcome home', nice touch. The location here is just perfect so close to the action but so lovely and quiet. The two pools are one of my favourites of all resorts, with the swim up bar. The staff are just delightful and nothing is too much trouble. Please pass on our thanks to your staff, again!

Stayed again at the lovely Burasari Hotel, a haven of peace in the centre of Patong. We spent 3 nights in a Honeymoon Room and it was just beautiful! Nothing has changed since our last visit, same lovely serene place, people and great breakfast. The bar areas and pools all have a nice Thai feel. For couples who want to stay in the heart of Patong, this is the place to be.

Stayed 11 nights in elite pool access room.We were very pleased with the room and the pool area,The resort is within walking distance to shopping, beach and restaurants. The staff are friendly and Kwon and Joe from the pool bar are awesome guys.Breakfast is nice and the free tapas afternoon was enjoyable. The biggest problem is mosquitoes (if they sucked fat instead of blood i would have come home anorexic), due to the amount of plant life surrounding the pool they are everywhere, however we were supplied with mozzie spray it just didn't work on us. The only downside was that the resort informed us they were going to spray outside for mozzies between 11pm and 1 am but they forgot to tell us the noise from this would be unbearable and it happened closer to 1am and scared the crap out of us.That was our 4th visit to Phuket and this hotel is up there with all the others we have stayed at..we are working our way thru Patong 1 hotel at a time and we would definately reccommend Burasari and stay here again.

Room Tip: Elite pool access away from the road.

Near Patong beach and the shopping areas. Was given a free upgrade to Elite room. View from this room was not good. Since I just stayed for one night it did not bother me much. Breakfast was very nice. Overall the hotel is nice but a bit dated.

Room Tip: Try for a pool side room to get a good view
